Dear Reader,

It begins with a vision. A few poems here and there give rise to the thought of filling thirty-odd pages with collected works that are fit for an award-winning magazine. For weeks, the focus is simply getting as many submissions as possible - can anyone submit a picture they took? How about a poem? A class doodle, even?

The dream of creating a magazine worthy of upholding its excellence wouldn’t have been possible with-out the dedicated writers, artists, photographers, who submitted their work to Ink, allowing themselves to undergo the unseen scrutiny from the Ink staff.

As always, we’d like to extend a major thanks to Mrs. Antoine, whose unwavering support has never been more appreciated, especially as the weeks faded into mere days before printing.

And finally, thank you, loyal Reader. It is for you that we ultimately create this magazine, with the sole wish of spreading our love for both literature and creation. So take this with you, roll it up and swat a fly, hold it with one hand as the other becomes sticky with the sweet nectar from a plum, carry it with you in your beach bag as the pages become warm in the tropical sun. Wherever you are, whatever you’re doing, maybe you’ll be inspired to capture your own dreams.
