TRANSCRIPT
Round 2 winner, Zach Walters, was on form once more as he claimed pole in the tricky conditions, proving to be a bit of a ‘rain-meister’. The track was drying for the final however and this brought plenty of other drivers into play with Connor Brown, Sebastian Chodyko and notably, Milo Pilford, all proving to be a match for Walters.
Heat 1 Boudewijn Long led the field
into the slippery turn one from
a standing start, but was
under attack from Mikey
Gleeson and Zach Walters by
the end of lap 1. Walters soon
passed the pair of them to
lead lap 2 as the leading trio
pulled away, with Gleeson
taking 2nd from Long at the
end of the straight. Walters
began to pull out a gap with
Long beginning to be reeled
in by Robin Truswell and Ellis
Bailey as the rain continued
to fall. Gleeson began to
edge towards Walters in the
dying stages of the race, but
Walters held on to take the
win from Gleeson, Long,
Truswell and Bailey.
Heat 2
Otis Smith made a good get
away from the line but a spin
at turn 3 undone his good
work. James Higgins assumed
the lead from Robin Truswell
and Kuba Wozniak with the
leading pair getting away
from the chasing pack at a
rate of knots. Brendan
Sathees worked his way
through the order to take up
3rd as Higgins disappeared up
the road on his way to the
chequered flag. Higgins took
the win from Truswell, Sathees,
Wozniak and Mark Hearn.
Heat 3
Heat 3
Milo Pilford led from pole
with Josef Smillie tucking in
behind. Sebastian Chodyko
was onto the back of Smillie
by the time the field made
their way down the straight
at the end of lap 1 with
Pilford gradually pulling out
a lead. Alex Hamilton had
made his way into 4th having
passed William Forber and
set after the battling pair of
Smillie and Chodyko with
Pilford using this to his
advantage to continue
building his lead. Pilford had
pulled out the length of the
main straight as the race
approached its conclusion
with a spin from Smillie at the
penultimate corner
promoting Chodyko to 2nd.
Pilford took a comfortable
win from Chodyko, Hamilton,
Forber and the recovering
Smillie.
Heat 4

the green lights came on

but Alex Hamilton soon took over at the front before causing a bit of a pile up as he spun at the end of the straight and led the majority of the pack into following him. Ted Rivett was the beneficiary of this as he took the lead with Thomas Wallace following him in 2nd. Milo Pilford was running in 3rd on his own as he chased after the leading pair, leaving Hill behind him. Matteo Strathmann worked his way up into 4th ahead of Jayden Neil Holder but the spoils were taken by Rivett who headed Wallace, Pilford, Neal-Holder and Hill. Heat 5 Mikey Gleeson grabbed the
lead at the start, reacting
best as the green lights
came on. Behind him the
chasing pack fought for 2nd
with Thomas Wallace
winning the fight by the time
the drivers made their way
onto the main straight, but
threw it away with a spin.
This handed 2nd to Zach
Walters with Ambrose
Witherspoon and Connor
Brown being promoted to 3rd
and 4th respectively. Bailey

Brown being promoted to 3rd
and 4th respectively. Bailey
Morgan took over from Brown
in 4th and was onto the back
of Witherspoon very quickly as
Gleeson edged away from
Walters at the front. Gleeson
took the win ahead of Walters,
Witherspoon, Brown and
Morgan.
Heat 6
Kuba Wozniak emerged from
the first few turns in the lead
with James Higgins and Ted
Rivett behind. Rivett spun
Higgins before Vale to take 2nd
and then spun on the exit of
Vale before rolling back
across the track in front of the
pack. Rivett picked up a
black flag for the offences as
Wozniak pulled out a lead.
Higgins was making quick
work of those ahead of him to
recover back into 2nd at the
half way stage and set after
Wozniak who was 4 seconds
up the road. Wozniak then
spun on the exit of turn 1 to
allow Higgins to get onto his
rear bumper on the
penultimate lap. Boudewijn
Long was running on his own
in 3rd as he was well clear of
Jack Fernandes in 4th with the
leading pair starting the final
lap separated by half a
second. Higgins was all over
Wozniak through the final
three corners with a lunge at
the penultimate corner setting
him up for a run out of the
final corner. Higgins took it at
the line from Wozniak by 0.005
seconds. Long came home in
3rd ahead of Fernandes and
James Collen.
Heat 7
Sebastian Chodyko held off
William Forber into turn 1 as
Forber attempted a move
around the outside. Chodyko
emerged from behind the
bank at Vale on his own as he
left Brendan Sathees and Jack
Fernandes behind him. Milo
Pilford made contact with
another driver, but allowed
them back through to avoid a
penalty, dropping him down
the order, but was quick to
work his way up into 4th before
passing Fernandes with a run
out of the final corner for 3rd.
He then left the rest of the
pack behind in his pursuit of
Sathees as Chodyko
continued to cruise off into the
distance. Chodyko took the
win from Sathees by 11
seconds with Pilford coming
home in 3rd. Josef Smille
claimed 4th with Forber
completing the top 5.
Heat 8
Zach Walters shot off into an
early lead on lap 1 leaving
Robin Truswell and Mark Hearn
behind him. There was then a
large gap back to Ellis Bailey
and Ted Rivett as the slippery
conditions continued to catch
out drivers. The field then
spread out, leaving gaining
positions difficult. Walters
cruised to another heat win
ahead of Truswell, Hearn,
Rivett and Ambrose
Witherspoon.
Heat 9
Connor Brown led from pole
with Thomas Wallace tucking
in behind him. The pair got a
good run out of the second
corner to pull a few kart
lengths over Sebastian
Chodyko in 3rd, but Chodyko
closed the gap as they started
lap 2. William Forber was
running in 4th with Mark Hearn
and Otis Smith close behind
him as the leading trio
continued to pull away. Brown
had edged out a kart length
or two as the leading three
started the final lap with Brown
holding on to win ahead of
Wallace, Chodyko, Forber
and Hearn.
Heat 10
Jayden Neal-Holder led the
pack from pole but Mikey
Gleeson soon took over at the
front to head Tomas Orjuela
Cortes and Bailey Morgan.
Gleeson got his foot down to
start pulling out a gap over
Morgan, who had passed
Orjuela Cortes for 2nd. Gleeson
was quickly pulling away at
the front, cruising to an
unchallenged win as he beat
Morgan by 11 seconds.
Orjuela Cortes came home in
3rd with Neal-Holder and
Matteo Strathmann rounding
out the top 5.
Heat 11
Ambrose Witherspoon was
followed by Brendan Sathees
and Alex Hamilton through the
opening corners with Sathees
seizing the initiative at the end
of the straight as he passed
Witherspoon for the lead with
a move up the inside. Connor
Brown was now in a close third
but passed Witherspoon
through Vale to take up 2nd.
2nd soon became 1st as he
passed Sathees and began to
pull away, leaving his spray
and Sathees behind.
Witherspoon was still sitting in
3rd but had Josef Smillie
closing on him as the rain
intensified across the track.
Brown claimed the win by
2.457 seconds from Sathees,
Witherspoon, Smillie and
Boudewijn Long.
D Final Ellis Bailey led from pole with
Henry Forber slotting in behind
in 2nd. Jack Fernandes moved
up into 3rd after a spin from
Camron Page at the end of
the straight dropped him
down the order. Forber
repeated Page’s mistake a
lap later to leave Bailey with a
healthy lead and allowed
Fernandes to get within a few
kart lengths of Forber. Bailey
cruised across the line to take
the win ahead of Forber,
Fernandes, Oliver Hill and
James Collen.
C Final
Josef Smillie got off to a good
start from pole and was
followed by William Forber.
Smillie was making good
progress, but went too quick
into turn 1 and spun, handing
the lead to Forber and 2nd to
Mark Hearn. Hearn went for a
spin through the penultimate
corner, giving Smillie back one
of his lost places and a clear
run to try and catch Forber. D
Final winner, Ellis Bailey, was
running in 4th despite starting
at the back, but a spin from
Hearn caught him out and
gave two places to Alex
Hamilton who moved up to
3rd. Forber took the chequered
flag from Smillie, Hamilton,
Hearn and Tomas Orjuela
Cortes.
B Final
Thomas Wallace grabbed the
lead from Robin Truswell at the
start, but Truswell was quick to
regain the lead. As the field
made their way back down
the straight, Wallace was
tucked up behind Truswell and
pulled out from behind to
make a move, but lost the kart
in the slippery conditions,
putting him off to the side of
the track. Kuba Wozniak
picked up a penalty for an
advantage by contact, but
this did not deter him from
having a go at leader Truswell
as he briefly grabbed the lead
before Truswell got it back
once again. Ambrose
Witherspoon was next to
challenge Truswell, passing
him with a run out of the final
corner to take up the lead.
Witherspoon started to edge
away as Bailey Morgan got
onto the back of Truswell and
copied Witherspoon’s move
to take 2nd. Morgan quickly
closed the gap to
Witherspoon to put him under
pressure for the lead but
Witherspoon held on to win
from Morgan by 0.200
seconds. Truswell came home
in 3rd ahead of Boudewijn
Long and Ted Rivett.
A Final
Zach Walters had performed
brilliantly in the tricky
conditions in the heats to give
himself pole as the drivers
lined up on the grid, but
Connor Brown seized the
initiative into turn 1 and took
the lead with Sebastian
Chodyko and James Higgins
slotting in behind. Milo Pilford
had started 6th, but was into
5th on lap one with a move on
Mikey Gleeson through Vale
and set after the four ahead
of him as Chodyko put the
pressure on Walters. A move
up the inside into turn 1 on lap
2 saw Chodyko take 2nd from
Walters and got him onto the
back of Brown and was able
to have a look into turn 2
which nearly paid off. Brown
held him off however as the
battling trio were joined by
Pilford who had quickly
worked his way passed
Higgins. Walters came back at
Chodyko with a run out of the
final corner to give him 2nd
once more but only for a
handful of corners as Chodyko
was back through at turn 4.
Pilford had been watching on
and decided to get involved
as he passed Walters a lap
later into turn 1 to take 3rd and
then passed Chodyko on the
same lap to take 2nd. Brown
was next on Pilford’s hit list, but
proved to be tougher to pass
as he followed in his wheel
tracks. Chodyko and Walters
continued to squabble for 3rd
with contact at the final
corner spinning Walters
around and leading to a
penalty for Chodyko. This
promoted Higgins into 4th on
the road, albeit several
seconds behind Chodyko. All
eyes were on the leading pair
however, as Pilford continued
to apply the pressure. The
penultimate lap saw the
change as Pilford grabbed
the lead with a lap and a half
remaining. It was a lead that
he did not relinquish as he led
Brown home across the finish
line to take his maiden win by
0.223 seconds. Chodyko
crossed the line in 3rd, but
Higgins was given the podium
spot due to Chodyko’s
penalty, with Walters finishing
in 5th on the track (4th when
amended).

Wet conditions had provided entertaining racing at the front with Kameron Khan, Jake Gillett, Ben Graham and Harvey McBrien providing most of the grid’s action. These four were at the front for the drying final and did not disappoint as they fought in a hotly contested race.
Heat 1 Harvey McBrien headed the
field as they tip-toed their
way through the wet turn 1,
but soon lost out to Jake
Gillett on lap 2 with Gillett
quickly putting some distance
between himself and McBrien
behind him. Joseph Dimba
was running in 3rd but had
Dan Hudes closing in on him
with Hudes soon sneaking
through. A spin at the end of
the straight meant he lost
another place to Max
Oshaughnessy. The gap at
the front stabilised as McBrien
found a rhythm, but Gillett led
the pair home to win from
McBrien, Hudes,
Oshaughnessy and Dimba.
Heat 2 Kameron Khan shot off the
line to build a gap on lap one
over Ben Graham and Oliver
Tipping. Khan undid his good
work with a spin at turn 3 on
lap 2 handing the lead over
to Graham with a
comfortable gap back to the
recovering Khan. Tipping was
still running in a steady 3rd but
had Connor Hickey close
behind with Hickey snatching
3rd on the penultimate lap as
Khan tried to chase down
Graham ahead of him.
Graham took the chequered
flag ahead of Khan with
Tipping retaking Hickey at the
final corner and Sofia Orjuela Cortes rounding out the top 5. Heat 3 Max Oshaughnessy made
the most of pole to lead
with Harvey McBrien
jumping up into 2nd on lap
1. These two quickly
pulled away from Oliver
Tipping, Dan Hudes and
Connor Hickey as they
squabbled over 3rd place.
Oshaughnessy was getting
away from McBrien at the
front as the rain began to
slowly fall once more, but
this did not deter
Oshaughnessy as he
comfortably continued
to pull away. Tipping and
Hickey were still fighting
over 3rd as they lost Hudes
due to a spin at the end
of the straight.
Oshaughnessy cruised to
the chequered flag,
heading McBrien by 7
seconds. Hickey took 3rd
ahead of Dimba and
Tipping.
Heat 4 Ben Graham flew off the line
to head Kameron Khan and
Jake Gillett as the drivers
disappeared towards the
other end of the track in the
mist. Khan was quick to start
attacking Graham for the
lead with Gillett closing in on
them on lap 2. Khan
attempted a pass around
the outside of the second
cut through before Vale,
but left the door open to
Gillett who passed the pair
of them into Vale as
Graham dropped to 3rd. The
trio arrived at turn 6 together
and contact led to Khan
being spun and a penalty
for Graham. With Gillett and
Graham still fighting, Tom
Nicoll joined them in the
fight for the lead as Khan
quickly caught the three of
them and was intent on
passing Graham. He made
quick work of Nicoll before
passing Graham on the final
lap for 2. Gillett took the win
ahead of Khan, Graham,
Nicoll and Kizzie McDonald.

Heat 5
Jake Gillett was away at the
start, building a small lead on
lap 1, heading Tom Nicoll and
Harvey McBrien at the end of
the opening lap. Max
Oshaughnessy was running in
4th and was closing on
McBrien, before passing
McBrien coming out of Vale
and onto the straight. Nicoll
was gradually reeling in Gillett
as Oshaughnessy tried to
close down the pair of them.
The top three started the final
lap separated by 1 and a half
seconds as Oshaughnessy got
onto the back of Nicoll. A pass
at the end of the straight gave
him 2nd as Gillett took the win.
Oshaughnessy took 2nd just
edging out Nicoll with McBrien
and Oliver Tipping rounding
out the top 5.
Heat 6
Connor Hickey led from pole
with Ben Graham taking up
2nd by turn 2 despite starting
on the back-row. Dan Hudes
had taken over at the front
with Kameron Khan joining
Hudes and Graham before
dropping Graham to 3rd. Khan
and Graham made quick
work of Hudes with Khan and
Graham now both dicing for
the lead with Khan driving
very defensively to keep
Graham at bay. Graham set
himself up for a move into
Vale with a cut back on the
final lap to give him the lead
with 4 corners remaining with
Graham taking the win ahead
of Khan, Hudes, Tom Nicoll
and Joseph Dimba.
B Final
Dan Hudes and Oliver Tipping
led the way through a greasy
turn 1 with Hudes quickly
breaking away and Tipping
losing out to Joseph Dimba at
turn 3. Dimba, Tipping and
Connor Hickey were all
squabbling for 2nd place with
their fighting allowing Hudes to
gradually pull away
unchallenged. As the fighting
intensified, contact started to
occur, resulting in a penalty
for Tipping as he was judged
to have gained a place
unfairly. A half spin from
Dimba seemed to put him out
of contention on the
penultimate lap as Hickey
began to gap Tipping behind
him. Tipping responded and
closed the gap in time to
have a lunge at the end of
the straight which he pulled
off cleanly and made stick.
Hudes took the top spot
ahead of Tipping, Hickey,
Dimba and Sofia Orjuela
Cortes.
A Final
Jake Gillett lined up on pole
ahead of Kameron Khan as
the karts lined up on the now
drying grid. Gillett held off
Khan and Graham into turn 1
with Khan quick to start
applying the pressure on
Gillett for the lead. The
leading two initially looked to
be dropping Graham with
Harvey McBrien close behind,
ready to pounce if he were
given the chance. The track
was drying with lap times
getting drastically faster as the
race wore on. Khan had
begun his attack on Gillett but
each time he passed, Gillett
appeared to have a response
and quickly regained with a
lovely example of this through
the final three corners as Khan
got ahead through turns 6
and 7 only to have Gillett strike
back at turn 8. Lap 3 saw the
move that stuck as the pair
exited turn 3 with Gillett ahead
and Khan tucked up behind.
Gillett went deep into the
hairpin right, taking the
traditional wet line with Khan
taking a chance up the inside
on the standard racing line.
Khan’s kart found the grip
allowing him to get around
the corner, with the two
meeting as they exited,
causing light contact and
allowing Graham to get a run
on Gillett into Vale. The
contact was deemed as a
racing incident with Graham
taking over 2nd through Vale.
McBrien was also closing in as
Khan began to get away at
the front with new fastest laps
on each lap as the circuit
dried out with McBrien
sneaking ahead of Gillett in
the final stages. Khan took the
win, his third consecutive win
of the season, beating
Graham by 3.1 seconds with
McBrien completing the
podium and Gillett and Max
Oshaughnessy rounding out
the top 5.

Rain was in the air for most of the day, leading to difficult track conditions. Nevertheless, the racing was close and a handful of drivers appeared to have the pace to take the win in the final.
Heat 1 Sam Hampshire kicked off proceedings, heading the field through the opening corners. A slide at the end of the straight led to him kissing the tyres on the outside and nearly handed the lead to Joe Booker. Silas Woolway was running in 3rd at the end of lap 1 as things began to hot up at the front with contact beginning to occur with George Worledge receiving the ‘penalty board’ and Josh Craft receiving the black flag. The full course yellow was brought out to rebuild the plastic barrier at turn 1 after Woolway had ploughed through it with the green flag shortly being brought out with Worledge grabbing the lead as Worledge and Hampshire slipped their way out of Vale. Worledge pulled away to leave Hampshire with Booker with Scott Van Breda, Josh Lad and Alexander Dorricott closing in. Worledge crossed the line 1st ahead of Hampshire, Booker, Van Breda and Lad. Heat 2 Alexander Dorricott held off
Josh Craft into turn 1 at the
start of heat 2 with Scott Van
Breda quickly making his way
into 3rd as the two up front
began to pull away. Sam
Hampshire was closing on
Van Breda, leaving Tauran
Bellot Jnr to hold off Josh Lad
and George Worledge. A slight slip up from Craft saw him drop back towards Van Breda and allowed Dorricott to start getting away as he pumped in some fast times in the wet conditions. Hampshire slipped passed Van Breda for 3rd with the move allowing Craft to pull out a couple of kart lengths. Dorricott took a comfortable win ahead of Craft, Hampshire, Van Breda and Worledge. Heat 3 The field remained closely
bunched through the
opening corners with
George Worledge emerging
on top ahead of Tauran
Bellot Jnr and Scott Van
Breda. Silas Woolway was
soon into 4th as the top four
slowly edged away from
Ben Gosling, Josh Craft and
Alexander Dorricott.
Worledge got his head
down to try and edge away,
but each time Bellot Jnr
responded to close the gap
back up. Dorricott had
made his way into 4th and
was pushing to get Van
Breda on the final lap with a
last minute lunge at the end
of the straight, not quite
paying off. Worledge held
on to win ahead of Bellot
Jnr, Van Breda, Dorricott
and Craft.

weather proving
treacherous once more.
Scott Van Breda got a good

an overly ambitious lunge
into turn 1. Dorricott and
Van Breda were joined by
Sam Hampshire who soon
took up 2nd place from Van

tricky conditions. George

closed in on them. With Craft
picking up a black flag in the
earlier heats, he was out of
position, but was progressing
well through the field and was
soon in the fight for 2nd
between Hampshire and
Worledge. Craft picked off
Worledge first and then
passed Hampshire for 2nd at
the end of the straight as
Hampshire slid wide. Dorricott
had a healthy lead by this
time, but Craft tried to close
him down, setting the fastest
lap of the race in the process.
It was not enough however as
Dorricott claimed the top spot
from Craft, Hampshire,
Worledge and Ben Gosling.

Ian Del-Pizzo and Jake Butler were once again the drivers to fight it out for the top spot as the pair of them left the chasing pack behind in the final. Butler finally broke his 2015 duck to head Del-Pizzo home for the first time this season.
Heat 1 Jordan Bowley kicked off proceedings, heading Jake Butler and Jack Reeves at the end of lap 1. Bowley was making a break for it at the start as he built an early lead over the chasing pair of Butler and Reeves who were getting away from Ben Williams and George Dixon. Butler began to take tenths out of Bowley’s advantage at the half way stage and was dragging Reeves with him but Bowley soon responded to put distance between the two of them once more. Ian Del-Pizzo, Daniel Holland and Fergal Ludlow were all fighting over 6th as those ahead made good their escape. Bowley took the first win of the day heading Butler, Reeves, Williams and Del-Pizzo. Heat 2 Ian Del-Pizzo got off to a
quick start in heat 2 to pull
out a lead of 2.7 seconds on
lap 1 with Daniel Holland,
Jack Reeves and Fergal
Ludlow leading the chasing
pack. Jake Butler was on the
move, gaining positions
through the field to take up
3rd with Holland next in his
sights. Reeves was doing his
best to fend off Ludlow and
Ben Williams as they crawled
over his rear bumper allowing
Butler to make an easy break
for it in his pursuit of Holland
with the gap between the
two of them coming down
two of them coming down with each lap. Butler was on Holland as the pair started the final lap with a good run out of Vale leaving him with a chance. Holland defended the inside line leaving Butler with just the outside, which he took and held to give him the inside for turn 7 and with it 2nd place. Del-Pizzo took the win ahead of Butler and Holland with Reeves and Williams completing the top 5. Heat 3 George Dixon held off
Bradley Youngman into turn
1 at the start of heat 3 with
Dixon eager to put some
distance between himself
and those behind. Fergal
Ludlow soon worked his way
up into 2nd ahead of Ian Del-

Del-Pizzo and Butler both
passing Ludlow for 2nd and

The pair at the front were setting a blistering pace, leaving Ludlow behind in a rather lonely 3rd as he gapped George Dixon, Jordan Bowley, Ben Williams and Jack Reeves as Williams and Reeves tussled for 6th. Butler was extending his lead, setting the fastest lap of the race as he pulled away, leaving Del-Pizzo to settle for 2nd. Butler took his first win of the 2015 season, heading Del-Pizzo by 2.388 seconds. Ludlow crossed the line 23.5 seconds behind race winner, Butler, to complete the podium with Dixon and Bowley rounding out the top 5.

Bobby Trundley was the man to beat at Round 3, winning two of three heats in mixed conditions before leading off of the line and cruising to the chequered flag to claim the win from Adam Christopher and Arnold Macauley.
Heat 1 Donald Macauley made a
clean get away at the start to
head the field with Barry
Beckett behind him. Adam
Christopher and Bobby
Trundley were past Beckett at
the end of the straight to take
up 2nd and 3rd respectively
with Trundley quickly taking
Christopher for 2nd and setting
after Macauley. Lap 3 saw
Trundley nearly take the lead
with a move up the inside at
turn 2, but Trundley could not
make it stick as Macauley
held on around the outside. It
only took a couple of more
corners however for Trundley
to get through as he finally
got his man. Trundley was
then away, leaving
Macauley behind him who
soon lost out to Arnold
Macauley and Christopher.
Chuch Panu and Jake Taylor
were running together in 5th
and 6th and were closing in
on Donald Macauley with
Panu getting ahead on the
final lap. Trundley took the
win ahead of Arnold
Macauley, Christopher, Panu
and Donald Macauley.
Heat 2 George Watson got away
from pole cleanly but was
being chased by Bobby
Trundley who was into 2nd by
the end of lap 1 despite
starting in 10th. Lap 2 saw the
lead swap between the two
of them as Trundley got
ahead with the two of them
breaking away from the
chasing pack. Adam
Christopher was into 3rd by
the end of lap 2 having
started last and was trying to
get back on terms with the
leaders ahead of him and
get away from Donald
Macauley and Arnold
Macauley behind him as
they scrapped for 4th.
Trundley was pulling away
from Watson behind him,
but Christopher was not
making massive in-roads into
Watson’s advantage and
appeared to be being
caught gradually by Arnold
Macauley behind him. Jake
Taylor was edging towards
Donald Macauley but
appeared to be running out
of time to catch him as the
chequered flag was
readied. Trundley took the
win ahead of Watson,
Christopher, Arnold
Macauley and Donald
Macauley.
Heat 3
Adam Christopher got heat
3 underway in the greasy
conditions with Chuch Panu
holding on to 2nd but was
falling behind as Christopher
got away. Bobby Trundley
was closing on Panu and
was soon passed as the rain
intensified with Panu getting
caught out at turn 6 and
allowing Jake Taylor in 4th, to
close in on him. The rain was
falling harder, leading to
some costly mistakes from
some drivers in the field as
they slipped and slid their
way around the circuit.
Christopher coped with the
conditions best however, as
he took the chequered flag
ahead of Trundley, Taylor,

Three From Three For Trundley
Inkart Round 3 – 29th March 2015
By Thomas McMurray
Panu and Arnold Macauley.
Final
The rain had saturated the
track between their third heat
and the final with a trip into
the unknown on the cards at
the start. Bobby Trundley
headed Adam Christopher as
they tip-toed their way around
the first corner with Arnold
Macauley close behind. These
three were quick to pull out a
gap over the chasing pack
which was headed by Jake
Taylor with Chuch Panu and
Leigh Ebanks a couple of kart
lengths behind. Trundley found
his rhythm early on in the wet
conditions and set about
building a lead over
Christopher with Christopher
doing likewise to Macauley
behind him. The closest fight
on track therefore was the
one between Taylor and
Ebanks with Taylor having the
advantage in the earlier
stages. Ebanks gradually got
closer and when the time was
right, passed Taylor under
braking at the end of the main
straight. Trundley continued to
pull away, setting a searing
pace as he took the
chequered flag 8.445 seconds
clear of Christopher.
Macauley completed the
podium ahead of Ebanks and
Taylor.
