INNOVATIONFOR A NEW PLASTICS REVOLUTION
Food, packaging, automotive, agrochemical, cosmetics, pharma,
electronic or building industries have to deal every day with
new challenges related to the productivity of its industries,
environmental respect and global sustainability.
From ChemPlastExpo we have the goal to present the solutions
for its challenges that the chemical and the plastics transformation

The chemical industry is undoubtedly the one with the biggest
global growth. Only this sector collects the 25% of the Spanish
industry investments that the Spanish industry ensemble allocates
for innovation and gives a job to the 21% of researchers working
in industrial companies. Referring to the plastics transformation,
its annual production has globally increased between the 3% and
the 5%, which means an increase on the demand of machines that
achieves the 32.500M€, 42% of those inputs goes to European
manufacturers. Two industries in constant growth and with
similar challenges to satisfy its clients’ needs. In an environment
in which market requirements are getting bigger, all the attention
and the debate go to issues as functionality, environmental
impact and digitalization.
The challenges of the future involve the appearance of new business
models and the development of new materials and technologies,
not only coming from the I+D+I area but also from the technological
and research centers, universities and start-ups. Emerging talent
and new disruptive projects have also place and recognition in
ChemPlastExpo. That’s why in ChemPlastExpo we try to offer a full
agenda of activities as well as the Leadership Summit, the Circular
Economy Forum or the ChemPlast Awards, high-level meetings
