Product description

BELSIL® EG 5 elastomer gel is a cross-linked high molecular weight silicone swollen in cyclopentasiloxane . It transforms to matte appearance with powdery after feel.

Special features and Key benefits

BELSIL® EG 5 is easy to distribute on skin and gives a nice, non-greasy, silky skin feel. Evaporation of the volatile silicones leaves a non-tacky film which improves matte effect on skin. It provides dry smoothness and light, silky non-greasy powdery skin feel.

Application

BELSIL® EG 5 is a non-emulsifying elastomer gel that is supplied as a 14% active solution in cyclopentasiloxane.

Processing

The viscosity may increase during storage, and agitation may be required before use if stored for an extended period of time. However the viscosity data

can vary significantly depending on how the product is stirred prior to measurement. WACKER recommends to thoroughly mix BELSIL® EG 5 before any viscosity measurement. If the product is stored for an extended period of time, it should be re-mixed prior to use.

Storage

The "Best use before end date" of each batch is shown on the Certificate of Analysis. Storage beyond the date specified on the Certificate of Analysis does not necessarily mean that the product is no longer usable. In this case however, the properties required for the intended use must be checked for quality assurance reasons. 1 Initially take total quantity of water and add xanthan gum in it continuons stirring, then add ATBS and heat upto 70 – 75 deg C

2 In another beaker take sabowax AE, antron V 220, antron sensory, dermol 139, squalane,belsil SDM 5055,marrix sf, Tipaque CR –

50, escalol 557 & heat it up to 70 – 75 deg C.

3 Then add oil phase to water phase under agitation.

4 At 50 deg C, add Trehalose, Belsil DM 350, belsil sdm 990, belsil EG 16, Imercare 2k, metroark 05, optiphen plus under constant

stirring.

5 Take grinder add red iron oxide, black iron oxide, yellow iron oxide, imercaresilk, cellufolw C 25, twinone SS 1000 and add above

phase

6 Finally add perfume with stirring & adjust the product pH 6- 6.5

qualities are the outstanding features of Wickenol 131. It is recommended for use in a number of cosmetic applications including lipsticks, skin

toners, bath oils, light creams and lotions where it exhibits softness and lubricity without oiliness. Finally, it can be used as a binder for pigmented

products, pressed eye shadow and blushers.

Dermol DISM is a fruit ester made from natural malic acid and highly branched alcohol, which allows it to

exhibit an extremely low freeze point. The presence of the free hydroxyl group on the malic acid facilitates

spreadability on the skin and gives it emulsifiablity in some polar solvents. Dermol DISM is an odorless,

tasteless ester, imparts gloss, sheen and lubricity with a minimum oiliness. It is recommended as a good binder for pigmented products and is an excellent additive for imparting gloss and sheen in make-ups and

lip products.

Take cirebelle 108, 305, almond butter, performance pl, belsil sdm 5055HP, hariol ps, marris sf, bees wax in beaker and heat it upto 75

to 800c.

2 In another beaker weigh ceraphyl 847, dermol 139, belsil DM 350, TiO2, imercare 2k, metroark 05 and pigment.

3 Add belsil TMS 803 in IDD and mix well then add belsil eg 16 and add this to phase 2.

4 Take in a beaker nulastic D 99-8 & DERMOL 99 & homogenous untill gets uniform solution. Add this also to phase 2.

5 Pass phase 2 on triple roller (min 3 times) to get uniform colour pigment paste.

6 Then add this paste in oil phase and put it in moulds and cool, refrigerate and packed in suitable containers.

Cirebelle high-purity synthetic waxes

Manufacturing process

Cirebelle waxes are uniquely derived from

natural sources by means of the Fischer-

Tropsch process. Natural gas and air is

converted to carbon monoxide and hydrogen

gas. The waxes are produced by way of

catalytic reaction of the hydrogen and carbon

monoxide at elevated temperature and

pressure. Distillation, purification and

modification then render these waxes of

exceptional purity. Continuous and thorough

quality control is maintained throughout the

manufacturing process to ensure consistent,

high-quality waxes for the cosmetics and

toiletries market.

Chemical and physical properties Cirebelle

waxes are long-chain,

unbranched hydrocarbons with the

following chemical structure: CH3-(CH2) n-

CH3. The molecular weights of the

individual waxes range from 300 to 1000

Dalton. The melting point increases with

increasing molecular weight and cover the

range from 40ºC to 100ºC. The waxes are

pure white and not translucent, having a

fine crystalline structure. The inert nature

of Fischer-Tropsch waxes ensures the absence

of side reactions with other ingredients.

Due to the nature of the manufacturing

process, the purity of Cirebelle waxes is high

and they are free from sulphur and aromatic

compounds. A further result of this is that the

waxes are non-irritant and practically

odourless.

The high-melting point and great hardness of

certain Cirebelle waxes impart an increase in

the melting point and hardness of wax and oil

blends such as sticks.
