What is Frisball?Frisball is an innovative

sports.It is based on the sport of

football. “Frisbee’’ is used instead of

using football.It is a blend of “Frisbee” and

“Football”.

Why Frisball?

Easy and fun game. Less strenuous. Anyone can

participate. Equipments are cheap. No high infrastructure

required in terms of operation.

Last but not the least, Kolkata is a football loving city.

About the tournament

Type : “Frisball knock-out tournament”

Duration: 2 days Venue: La Martiniere School,

Kolkata Date: 9th and 10th April, 2016Time: from 10:30 am onwards. There will be 16 teams

(including the host team) Students of class V to X can participate.

Registration process We are going to approach all the

schools. Out of these schools, only 16 schools will be selected (on first come first serve basis).

Registration process is fully offline. We will distribute registration forms along with the rules & regulations to the schools.

Rs. 500 will be charged as registration fees.

Permissions Permissions must be taken from the school

authority.

Rules & Regulations (cont’d) Total duration of a match is 20 mins. Each half, divided into 10 mins.5 mins. Break after each half. If there is a tie, another 5 mins. added for penalties. Maximum time for each match is 30 mins. There is no back pass. A player cannot hold the “frisbee” more than 10

seconds. 7 a side match.Players must be in proper sports dress.

Rules & Regulations (cont’d) Corner will be taken from theCentre spot. No back passes

allowed during corner. If a player fails to catch

frisbee, then the next team will get the chance to start.

Blocking can be done when the frisbee is in the air.

Rolling substitution is allowed.

A team consist of 7 players (along with 3 subs)

close may led to foul. If a defender goes into the 12 m. D (arc),

then it’s a penalty. No player is allowed to enter into the arc. Each match will have 2 referees. 1st Yellow card = 2 mins sent off2nd Yellow card = 3 mins sent offRed card = 5 mins
