Anne Lions Club held their second annual craft and bake sale to raise funds for a local family fighting cancer and for the Knights of Columbus Christmas hamper drive. This year was great! There was a photo booth set up and Santa came down to take photos with families. The proceeds from pictures, the bake sale and lunch went to the local family. All together $419 was raised. There was also a 50/50 and a silent auction and a food drive to raise funds to help many families this year with Christmas hampers they raised $445. “I’m surprised that there is such a great mix of vendors who fit into this little hall. With handmade chocolate, clocks, Christmas cards, per- sonalized gifts and so much more it is such a cozy sale. I found the perfect gifts,” said Susanne an attendee. The Ste. Anne Lions Club would like to thank all the sponsors and everyone who came out to support the event. They will be hosting another sale next November. 1. Line a large jellyroll pan withheavy-duty foil.2. Place white chocolate in a micro-wave-safe bowl. Heat in microwaveon medium setting for 5 to 6 min-utes. Stir occasionally, until choco-

Effective November 2nd the Ste. Anne has new hours. They arenow open on Monday’s from 11 am-4:30 pm, Tuesday to Thurs-day from 11 am – 7pm, Friday from 10 am – 4 pm and Saturdayfrom 10 am – 1 pm. The library is free of charge and is open to all residents of theTown of Ste. Anne as well asthe R.M. of Ste. Anne. If you don’t already have your membershipcard, feel free to come in andMona, Pat, Lise or Véronique would be pleased to help you fillone out. They have a large selection of English and French books butstress that if they do not have what you are looking for, they wouldbe more than happy to order it in from another library. As a member you also have access to public computers as wellas free WIFI.
