A MESSAGE FROM THE DIRECTOR OF CPD MEDICINE

Fifty years brings with it an indelible sense of satisfaction ... a half century of creating impactful educational programming for physicians across Manitoba, and a growing number of other primary care professionals. Such

milestones allow us to take pause and appreciate what a journey it has been. Thousands of educational sessions have been created by dedicated experts and attended by generations of medical professionals who value life long learning and personal growth. Today the University of Manitoba remains the first choice for many health care practitioners for their continuing education and professional development needs. With an array of plenary sessions, workshops and hands on activities, there are more choices than ever before. Programs such as Fridays at the University also remain one of the most economical CPD offerings available to health care professionals anywhere.

We are pleased to roll out our 2015-2016 season with sessions that will range from common office medical problems to discussions on social equity and the highly topical subject of end of life care. Join us for our signature Fridays at the University Bannatyne series that includes both group and small group learning opportunities. Register for one of our many community based sessions outside of Winnipeg, or take in one of our “stand alone” programs. So please join us and be part of the next fifty years as we partner in your learning ... for life!
