Consuming: Location-aware mobile apps

These two topics [mobile apps and tablets] have become pervasive in everyday life, at least in the developed world, and museum audiences have ever-increasing expectations of being able to learn on these devices whenever and wherever they may be. (...) Mobile Apps are the most relevant features of mobiles for museums right now. (...) This year, the driving interest is in “apps” — particularly apps that take advantage of recent developments in location awareness and GPS.
