For a long time Birmingham has been known as a city of ash. Nothing but dark, gloomy and tiresome place covered by a black cloud. Nowadays it has all changed with the beloved bullring at-tractions for tourism and trade. But now we have reached a new level, the Birmingham we all know and love is manufacturing models instead of coal. Online societies like Model mayhem are the light at the end of the tunnel for many of our young generation. Model mayhem is a website which allows people in the modelling business contact each other. This provides a glimmer of hope for talented youngsters that wish to perceive a future in the business, as they can be seen and commented by professional photographers, modelling agencies, magazines, and even by fellow models. The online site is one of few which can also provide genuine honest help and information for people interested in modelling, and so they can see if they have what it takes to be big in the business. Yasmin Bodie is one of few who succeeded in achieving lots of hits from photographers and agencies willing to employ her as one of their models.

I interviewed Yasmin for a better insight;

From a young age I loved to stand in front of the camera and feed on all that attention. As I got older I always bought magazines and always had something to say about

the way the models would be standing or their looks. From this I learned a lot of things and realised my passion in model-ling. When I started college I joined Model Mayhem online and that’s where my modelling carrier started off. Even though I was passionate about modelling I realised that it wasn’t something I could do for sustainability. So I have decided to do a Nursing degree at Birmingham University and pursue modelling as my dream. The good thing about Model Mayhem there are no dead-lines, no requirements and it can all be done part time. So I am happy I can study and model at the same time.

Experts say our weather will change drastically over the past week

Severe weather forecast heading our way! Apparently...

Weather reports show a high increase in warning levels for England. Aparantly “experts” say that on the months ahead we will be experiencing increased wind speeds of 75 mpH, black rain clouds that will cover more than half of England about 81.2% to be precise. Heavy snow fall and icy conditions are set to hit Britain so we can all have a snowy holiday and spend the new year frozen from top to toe, and stuck in 10 feet of snow.

Since the reports if they are true that is we should expect lots of traffic delays, and building closures. So I guess there is some positives to it for some people.Take a look at the Met office reports;
