• The Little Light House - a family will visit and share their experience at the January meeting

• Appointed positions - we have more open than filled. Would like other mem-bers to take these on instead of same folks.

• Starbird Show - Roger Bymun volunteered to continue being our Starbird Show coordinator. He and Troy will schedule a Chili Bingo sometime after the show

MCA National Committee - Ron Watkins and Mel Little coordinated an open dis-cussion for the duration of the meeting • Member Derek Fritz who works at Oral Roberts University said we can use their

location at $1500 per day for entire lot. This does not include security for the 4-day event.

• Each bullet point on MCA paperwork that Ron Watkins sent out is a separate committee & requires warm bodies for each.

• Mel Little reviewed the three-question survey submitted to the club during the last General Meeting

• 75% of responders said yes to show, 30 folks participated • 11 people willing to chair a committee • 19 not willing to chair • 14 out of the 19 willing to help.

• MCA will support judging & registration at the show. GCCM and MCA will have head judges.

• Melvin Little said the finance committee is the most important. Venue & time of year is as important.

• Ron Magnusson put forward a motion to move forward to check out venues. They will be checking with Expo, Casino’s, etc. to see what interest is.

• Ron Watkins said we may be able to check with a casino here in town to see if could do show at their location this year to give it a dry run to see if a national is even possible.

• John Hemby will speak with Mid-America to see if they would be interested in combining there events with an MCA National with a change in car show venue.

• Steve Armstrong reported MCA is wanting to move all judging to the Friday of their Nationals. Those that don't get judged on Friday should be finished by mid-day on Saturday. 2022 is most likely the earliest we could do a national.

• Mel Little recommends we conduct a bid process for a scope of services that a vendor could do for roughly 300 cars, including restaurants, hotel rooms & etc.

• We need to create a committee to start working towards heavy sponsorship. Mel added we need to get with the major Ford dealers. John mentioned Steve Young has been in contact with or is trying to contact the regional Ford dealership office

• Motion put forth to move ahead with national show for venues - all approved. Go-ing to start with

• ORU • EXPO • TCC SOUTH • BOK • Downtown Casino • Tulsa Chamber of Commerce

Adjournment - Meeting was adjourned at 7:53 by John Hemby

20 Surprising Things Everyone Forgets

About The Ford Mustang

#19 - Terminator

In the early 2000s, Ford stepped outside the box and built a Mustang legend. The Mustang

SVT Cobra, be'er known as the "Terminator," was the first supercharged, forced induc/on

V8 Mustang.

And while 390 horsepower isn't all that impressive by today's standards, for its /me, the

Terminator was what led to many changes in other domes/c muscle cars.

The pony led the pack with its forward-thinking engine design. Most muscle cars that now

have superchargers can a'ribute that addi/on to the Terminator. Its use of independent

rear suspension set the car up for be'er handling. And because there were only 19,140

Terminator Mustang released, its s/ll a desirable sports car today.
