GPP FOR CIRCULAR ECONOMY

p.3
GPP HAS A SPECIFIC INDICATOR IN THE CE MONITORING FRAMEWORK (HTTP://EC.EUROPA.EU/ENVIRONMENT/CIRCULAR-ECONOMY/PDF/MONITORING-FRAMEWORK.PDF)
Public Procurement
represents a large share
of GDP and hence green
public procurement – i.e.
when public authorities
use their purchasing
power to choose
environmentally friendly
goods, services and
works – can be a driver
for the circular economy
and for innovation.18
Data is still to be
developed for this
indicator.
