From the first, the Bible makes clear that marriage is a calling from God to care for, bless, and serve another. A successful marriage requires falling in love many times, always with the same person. A happy marriage is the union of two good forgivers. What counts in making a happy marriage is not so much how compatible you are, but how you deal with incompatibility. I encourage you to pray for your marriage.
