Earlier organizations made individuals, today individuals make an organization. It is important to have teams, but the basic functioning and formation of good teams depends on good individuals. - The contribution of individuals
We have not produced brands as far as education is
concerned in India. Seven IITs are the only brand we have
created. We have Jaguar, land rover, Tetley by Tata but we
haven’t built our own brand in the education sector.
- Need for world-class education brands in India

In today’s world it’s difficult to talk on ethics, morality in
business. But that is where institutes such as Great Lakes
come into place. That is why you are taught about CSR,
morality and Ethics. You should think about a value adding
employment. - The purpose of
management schools
It’s important that all of us work honestly, ethically and
make all our choices consciously. Every decision
that you make should be towards nation building.
Charity begins from home and you must also stick to it. - Conducting business
ethically

We are a true, proud and an independent nation only if we
remove corruption from our country. We are independent only
when hunger, poverty and unemployment do not exist
anymore. - Corruption- a deterrent to
our goals

When poverty is reduced then there is buying power, only
then will products made today be sold tomorrow. As Lincoln
quoted, “Equality of opportunity is freedom.”
- Buying power

Our nation is growing not because of its size or democracy, but because of its outstanding entrepreneurs and hardworking people. - Recognition of Indian talent
When we remember our country, we must be proud as Guru Dev Tagore said
in his book 100 years ago. In 1905, he said that India has a tradition where in
a society the strong protected the weak and the rich were generous enough on the society. We did not depend on the
Government then. We better go back to those routes and not depend
unnecessarily on the government.
- Importance of increasing self-reliance
