General instructions: • When collecting doors or frames, ensure they are not damaged before loading them. • Ensure they are of the correct specifications.

• When loading, ensure the products will not be damaged when transported. Use protective materials to prevent them from scratching.

• Make sure when walking over a client’s carpet that your shoes are clean, especially when raining. You don’t want to mess up a clients’ carpet.

• Never place your tools or toolbox on the clients’ tiles or carpets.

• Transport your own rubber mat or other protective material to place toolbox or tools on.

• Do not bump anything while carrying your tools or frames into the installation area. • Handle all doors and frames very carefully to ensure they are not scratched or

damaged in any way when carrying. • Before opening the product to be installed, ensure that the measurements are correct by measuring the installation are and check by measuring the outer frame.

• Ensure all installation surfaces are free from protruding bits of cement or other materials. Use hammer and chisel to carefully chip away.

• Ensure all surfaces are level before you start. Both horizontally and vertically. • Before marking drilling areas on walls, use a metal detector to ensure there are no water pipes or electric wires. Mark only areas where none of these are present.

• Do not drill through tiles on hammer action. Use a tile drill bit to avoid breaking the tiles.

• Take extra care that the drill chuck does not come into contact with the tiles or frames as this will cause permanent damage.

• Never drill on a client’s floor. This is sure to cause damage.

• Make sure that all dust from drilling has been cleaned before sealing. • All surfaces must be clean and dry before sealing. You cannot seal on a damp or moist

surface. • Remove all packaging from the client premises, do not use clients refuse removal. • Make sure all glass panels and frames are clean and don’t show any finger marks

before you leave the premises. • Also ensure the site is spotlessly clean before you leave.
