Overview : DocumentThis document provides connection and setup instructions for the following Blue Ridge Technologies Relay Panel (RP) Optional Equipment:
UL924 Emergency Bypass (UL924)Sections of this Install Guide apply to optional equipment and may not be applicable. RP equipped with UL924 contain up to 16 Lighting Tough Relays (LTR) for emergency circuits. However, the remaining RP components require normal (utility) power to function. DO NOT supply the RP transformer with emergency power.

Preparation : Relay Cover RemovalRemove the Relay Covers from the Panel Enclosure. (Figure 2)1. Confirm power is disconnected from the RP. 2. Unlock 1/4 turn fasteners located near top and bottom of Relay Cover.3. Remove Relay Covers by rotating inside edge outward and pulling
Relay Covers free.
Preparation : UL924 AccessRelocate the Controller and CMP to access UL924.1. Confirm power is disconnected from the RP. 2. Release the CMP Fasteners from the top of the CMP. Pivot the
assembly downward until it comes to rest perpendicular to the panel. In this position the assembly is susceptible to damage. Proceed with care. (Figure 1)

Terminations : Line VoltageRP equipped with UL924 contain up to 16 Lighting Tough Relays (LTR) for emergency circuits. However, the remaining RP components require normal (utility) power to function. DO NOT supply the RP transformer with emergency power.
The emergency circuits may now be terminated to the LTR. (See Emergency Circuits Chart) (Figure 3 and 4)1. Confirm power is disconnected from the RP.2. Prepare penetrations, conduit, and leads for the emergency circuits. 3. Route the leads as appropriate.4. Cut leads to length and strip as appropriate.5. Complete LTR terminations. 6. Torque each screw terminal to 36 in-lbs.7. Repeat for each emergency circuit. 8. Replace the Relay Covers.
Terminations : Low Voltage24VDC may be sourced from UL924 for a Normal Power Indicator Lamp if required. This screw terminal accepts a 0.4 x 2.5mm slot head screw driver. (Figure 4)1. Confirm power is disconnected from the RP. 2. Route the leads from the Normal Power Indicator Lamp. 3. Cut to length and strip as appropriate.4. Insert stripped lead into screw terminal and tighten screw. 5. Repeat for each lead.
