Install instructions for SAS 9.21 and

Enterprise Guide 4.3 for WINDOWS

1. Installation of

a. SAS 9.2 Foundation + b. Enterprise Guide 4.3

2. The Java Runtime 6_14 which is required (minimum) will be installed first.

3. The wizard will present a number of screens in which preselections are made for you.

4. In two occasions the suggested response could be different depending on the settings

of your system:

a. The drive letter associated with the SAS USB stick (see 2.7)!

b. The folder in which the Java Runtime is installed (see 2.9)!

Installation of SAS 9.2.

Which components will be installed is totally up to you!

PART 1: Installation of JAVA Runtime

SAS requires Java Runtime (minimum version 6_14) installed on your system. If JRE 6_14 already exists on your system or you have a more recent version, skip the installation of the Java Runtime!

PART 2: Installation of SAS

Installation of SAS can take up to 30 minutes.
