    1 INTRODUCTION

    1.1 The manualThe user guide is the document that accompanies the valve from the time of its construction and throughout the period of use, it is therefore an integral part of the valve. It requires reading the manual before taking any action involving the valve. The manual must be readily available for use by staff and maintenance of the valve. The user and the attendant use are required to know the contents of this manual.

    Reproduction of any part of this manual, in any form, without the express written permission of DAV Tech. The text and illustrations in this manual are not binding, the DAV tech reserves the right, at any time and without notice, the right to make any changes to improve the product or for reasons of character manufacturing or commercial.

    1.2 WarrantyThe warranty is valid for a period of 12 months from the date of commissioning and no later than 15 months from the date delivery. The interventions carried out during the warranty period does not extend in any way the validity period of the guarantee. The seller is not liable for defects caused by normal wear of parts which by their nature are subject to wear.

    1.3 Goods receivingThe original configuration of the valve must never be changed.Upon receipt of the goods, check that:• The packaging is intact • The exact correspondence of the material ordered.

    2 TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION

    2.1 Valve operationThe pneumatic piston of the metering valve must be controlled with an external 5/2 solenoid valve. The movement of the piston leads to the deposition of a constant and adjustable quantity of grease. The outlet grease pressure depends on the grease supply pressure. The pneumatic drive is designed to remain separate from the chamber which is filled with grease.The valve has a sensor port on which to mount a sensor to monitor the movement of the dosing chamber; this function increases control over the cycle by introducing greater security. The sensor produces an electrical impulse at the beginning of the dosing cycle, ie when the fat has been dosed. To guarantee the functioning of the sensor, the quantity of product to be dispensed must be at least 15% greater than the minimum quantity. In case of problems please do not hesitate to contact.

  • 3 INSTALLATION

    3.1 Mounting the valve on the machineThe valves can be mounted using volumetric ie threaded holes on his body. Download 3D models of the valve from our web-site to design brackets, fasteners, and check the dimensions.

    3.2 Drive the valveThe valve DAV 600 operate double acting by a solenoid valve 5/2 external.

    3.3 Connection of the fluidThe valve must be connected to a pneumatic pump, by means of a flexible hose, which must be connected to the fitting located in the lower part of the valve.To ensure the best operation of the dispenser make sure that the operating pressure is about 6 bar.Inlet fluid pressure must not exceed 120 bar. To make sure of this consider the compression ratio of the feed pump.The use of a pressure stabilizer can be advantageous to obtain a more constant dosage pressure, but its use is not fundamental.

    Le pompe DAV Tech sono ideali per alimentare in pressione il grasso contenuto in barattoli o fusti fino alla valvola DAV 600. Sono disponibili pompe per barattoli da 0,5 fino a 5 kg e per fustini da 5 a 200 kg.

    UGELLI PER VALVOLA DAV 600

    La valvola DAV 600 ha il corpo filettato 1/8 gas femmina in uscita. È quindi molto semplice avvitarci qualunque tipo di ugello.E’ inoltre possibile la progettazione e costruzione di ugelli speciali (multi punto, radiali, etc) per venire incontro alle esigenze della clientela.

    CONTROLLO VALVOLA DAV 600

    La valvola DAV 600 va controllata tramite elettrovalvola 5/2, una valvola pneumatica 5/2 o altro. Non è necessario che la temporizzazione sia accurata, ma è importante che il tempo impostato nelle 2 fasi di funzionamento permetta alla valvola di ricaricarsi e di dispensare il lubrificante.

    4 ADJUSTMENTS OF THE DISPENSING VALVE

    4.1 Adjustment of the piston strokeTo adjust the stroke, act on the mechanical stop located on the dosing chamber.Turn clockwise to decrease the chamber volume and consequently the amount of adhesive. Turning clockwise and coming to the end of the stroke the dosing valve will be completely closed, so it will not dispense grease constantly. Turn counterclockwise to increase the chamber volume and thus the amount of fat deposited.
