Turbo.net desktop app. Installation instructions for Windows PC
Installing the Turbo.net desktop app. will allow users to connect to applications in Local mode and Windowed mode. HTML5 mode does not require the desktop app.
For instructions on launching an application in Turbo.net or to connect your OneDrive allowing creation and saving of data in Cloud modes go to; https://www.griffith.edu.au/student-computing/using-your-own-device/turbo-net
How to download and install Turbo.net to your Windows device
1. Go to https://griffith.start.turbo.net and login Click on Download in the ribbon at top of the Turbo.net portal
2. Once completed, go to your Downloads folder> double-click the Turbo-
client…exe 3. The Open File – Security Warning prompt appears > click Run
4. The Turbo.net installation page will appear, click Continue
5. If Turbo.net has been installed correctly you will see it in the Start Menu.
6. You will now be able to launch an application in Windowed and Local modes
(Right click on application to see launch modes).
7. Connect your Turbo.net account to OneDrive for accessing and saving files when
running applications in either the Run in Cloud (HTML5) or Run in Cloud (Windowed) modes. Your OneDrive folder will be available as T:\OneDrive in all Turbo.net applications. In Windowed mode you will also have access to access and save files to your local hard drive.
Please be aware that some application interfaces will differ to shown above.
