Open Badge Factory LTI Integration


Prerequisites

● Before registering your LTI-credentials you need an account on openbadgefactory.com

● To set up the LTI connection, you also need administration privileges on you Blackboard LMS -system


1. Go to:https://openbadgefactory.com/ltiapp/manage/consumers/register

2. Open https://openbadgefactory.com/in another tab, to retrieve your API key

Click here to startthe guided setup process


Select yourLMS type

(blackboard)

Proceed to the next step

(Building blocks > Proxy Tools > Manage Global Properties)

Click next totest if everything

works.


You will get a message ifregistering the tool was a

success.

If registering the toolwas a success, resume

by clicking next.

If registering the toolfailed, return to previous

step and fix any mistakes, by clicking back.
