It is a full-time AICTE approved, 18-month program in the nature of an accelerated MBA designed
specifically for high-performing professionals with work experience. Primarily aimed at grooming,
Experienced Executives for a General Management role in the Functional Domain with a Global
Orientation, the program is designed with six distinct modules namely: foundation, functional,
internationalization, customization, integration and dissertation. The contents of the program blend in

With the objective of developing an
entrepreneurial mind set and holistic business

Entrepreneurship are offered in the first year.
After completing the specialised courses, as well
as corporate training during OJT, students join a
corporate as a mandatory nine months intensive
Entrepreneurial Immersion Program.
As a socially responsible institution, IAMR
Ghaziabad offers its students an action-based
mandatory three-credit course on Sustainability
and Social Responsibility, aimed at learning by
doing, while simultaneously serving the needs of
the society. It requires the students to work with
the community through on-ground projects. The
idea is to understand how people who are
different from us live their lives, to appreciate
contribution as a value and to know how each of
the decisions we take in business impacts our

PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT CELL
ORGANISATION BASED PROJECTS
The goal of the PDC is to help the students in
three main areas: academic goals, career
exploration and personal development. This
begins upon the commencement of the
program, and continues upto its tenure as well
as the career of the student. A major PD activity
conducted at the time of orientation for
incoming students is a Personal Growth Lab
(PGL), which aims at identifying the strengths
and weaknesses of each student through well-
established instruments of psychological and
self-assessment sessions. This is followed by
sessions, designed to develop competencies and
sof t sk i l l s such as network ing and
communication (developing Brand You) and
culminates in individualised career counselling
and interview preparation to assist the student in
resume development, internship search, career
planning and placements.
The purpose of this course is to make the
students learn the art of getting things done by
engaging in institution building activities at
IAMR Ghaziabad. It aims at inculcating

PGDM SCM (Supply Chain Management)It is a 'Two-Year' Full Time credit-based program comprising of Six Trimesters of three months each.
Each trimester is a blend of subject courses that introduce students to every aspect of an Organization’s
Supply Chain. PGDM – SCM aims to educate students about the need for development of effective SCM
practices and innovations in this field against the rapid development of the Indian Economy through
subjects related to Quality Management, Lean Manufacturing, Digital Supply Chains and Transactional
Analysis.
Structured in conjunction with Safeducate, this program incorporates a dynamic curriculum
encompassing theoretical and practical knowledge of Operations, Logistics and synchronization of
Demand & Supply in highly competitive market.
ABOUT SAFEDUCATE
PROGRAMME STRUCTURE
Safeducate was founded in the year 2007 when Safexpress - India’s largest express distribution company,
envisioned the skill need in the logistics & supply chain domain. Ever since, Safeducate has made its
presence strongly felt by nurturing competent workforce, and continuously striving towards developing a
talent pool of proficient supply chain and logistics professionals. Led by the alumni of Stanford and
Cambridge, the team blends rich operational experience with international know-how and best practices
to create programs which are extremely stimulating, hands on and industry focused.
PDGM – SCM encompasses courses, culminating in 117 credits, which aim to familiarize students with
the concepts, practiced and trends in Supply Chain and Logistics through the following kinds of courses:
• These are compulsory courses offered in the first year.
• The elective courses are offered to PGDM students in accordance with their specializations.
The Major Elective Courses are compulsory and are taught by Industry Mentors from the Safexpress.

SUMMER INTERNSHIPSummer Internship and its Report Submission are mandatory requirements for award of degree for
PGDM students. During the Internships, students are placed in organizations by in Safexpress Hubs, for a
period of 45 days, after the third trimester, on a specific assignment linked to their preferred area of
specialization. For Summer Internship, Students of PGDM-SCM are placed by IAMR’s Corporate Connect
through their MoU partner Safexpress.
Under the guidance of Project Guides from the Industry, and with the help of Faculty Mentors, students are
expected to submit a report on the given assignment, detailing their learning and its linkages, with
management education. This report is evaluated as part of the Program requirements, and allows
students to add a practical dimension to their academic perspective which helps them to get an idea about
possible future careers paths.
IAMR offers a unique Work & Learn Programme which provides On-Job-Training for educating our
students about skills, knowledge, and competencies needed for employees to succeed within a corporate
set-up. During this Programme, also called WLP, students get ‘hands-on’ learning in a professional
environment, wherein they learn to successfully apply acquired knowledge and skills in practical
situations. Through our MoU partner Safexpress, we have successfully provided WLPs to students of
PGDM-SCM from previous batches, where meritorious students were offered a paid WLP. The process is
underway for the current batch in companies such as DTDC, Safexpress, Amazon, Flipkart, RCPL and
Aggarwal Movers & Packers.

The two-year full-time management programme, approved by AICTE, Ministry of HRD, Government of
India and affiliated to the APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow, is one of the most sought after
programme of IAMR. The MBA programme of IAMR aims to develop professionals having excellence in
management with social and ethical responsibility. The MBA Course provide inputs to the students
relevant to the business, industry and trade so that they can function in different organizations and face
the challenges successfully. The Course also helps the students in developing their overall personality and

One of the major objectives of IAMR is to help the students in seeking good placements in industries and
other organizations. To achieve this goal, the Corporate Resource Centre (CRC) of IAMR maintains a very
strong liaison with the leading industries located in Delhi, Ghaziabad, Gurgaon, Faridabad, Noida and
other parts of the country. Besides, we also have very cordial relations and positive interface with many
other professional associations such as CII, FICCI, GMA, DMA, CSI, NHRDN, AIMA etc.
The CRC plays a very dynamic role in this direction and undertakes several activities. It tries to assess the
needs of the corporate world to make the teaching programme more pragmatic and industry oriented.
A dedicated team of senior faculty members and selected student managers has been working
successfully in this direction. The activities of the CRC can be grouped into the following six categories:
1- Industry Visit and Interface (both domestic and foreign)
2- Summer Training Placement.
3- Mock GD / PI by Professionals.
4- Campus Visits of the companies for recruitment.
5- Off-campus Interviews of the students.
6- Guest Lectures, Seminars, Conferences etc.
7- Live Projects.
