Support fundamental education metologie longitude, angles and temperature. Further verification cogged wheels, thread, calibre,surface texture and statistical process controll. At metering in education is in maximum measurement realized doctrinal progress , it entails cohesion wireless transmission measured data and picture with appropriate programmatic equipment and data projector.

Clinching tutorial and research in the area metrology textures surfaces, optical metrology, metrological lengths by the help of laserinterferometru, tangent and contactless scan vibration (realized in conjunction with Institute of automatization and information science)

Serve for realization research and special tutorial (in terms of doctor's studies and realization diploma work washing) in the area metrology textures surfaces, deviation recontouring and position etc . contactless measuring textures surfaces is realized in conjunction with Institute of physical engineering.)

It serves first of all to information of students with modern software as from metrology so from quality management areas. Article of inventory computer schoolroom is mathematic-statistic software (e.g. Minitab) and 3D graphics system SolidWorks.

Mission of branch is assertion of philosophy Total quality management also in reliability and safety areas. Branch prepares specialists with new practice requirements developed knowledge.
