Universal Studios is an American film studio which is owned by Comcast.

The company was founded in the year 1912 April 30th, under the name ‘Universal Film Manufacturing Company’.

The founders of Universal Studios are, Carl Laemmle, Pat Powers, Mark Dintenfass, William Swanson, David Horsley, Charles Baumann, Adam Kessel and Jules Brulatour.

Universal Studios makes all kinds of films from different genres, making it one of the six largest film studios in America.

Some of the horror movies Universal has been involved in are ‘Drag me to hell’ , ‘Psycho’ and ‘Ouija’

After conducting some research, I have decided that Universal Studios would not be the best idea as a production company for my horror movie.

The company was founded in 2004 after it was successfully involved in the production of ‘Saw’ with another company Evolution Entertainment.

Twisted Pictures was also formed by the founders of Evolution Entertainment; Mark Burg, Oren Koules and Gregg Hoffman became very well known after its success.

Twisted pictures is an independent American film production company.

Twisted specialise mainly on the horror genre, making it one of the most successful horror production companies in America.

After the research I have done, I have decided that twisted pictures would be a production company that I would consider due to it making many horror movies.

Twisted pictures has been involved in all the ‘Saw’ film series, along with ‘Texas Chainsaw 3D’ and ‘Dead Silence’.
