INSTRUCTIONS
Applications for Pupillage must be received by 4pm on Friday 9 th November 2018 . Applications must
be completed electronically and returned via email to [email protected]. Please
note that Devon Chambers does not accept hard copy applications.
Devon Chambers will consider applications for a deferred pupillage commencing in October 2020. If
you are applying for a deferred pupillage, please make this clear in an email and explain the reasons
for wishing to defer.
Devon Chambers will correspond with you via email. We suggest that you take steps to ensure that
our emails do not get accidentally diverted to your junk email to avoid any difficulties.
Please complete this application form carefully, bearing in mind your knowledge of Devon Chambers,
the work that you would be expected to do as a pupil and as a barrister, and the criteria we will be
assessing.
The application form is designed to ensure that all relevant information can be included. There may
be sections which do not apply to you. It is for you to decide what information you consider we will
find relevant and important.
Where we have indicated a limit on the number of words to be used, please adhere to those limits. If
you exceed those limits the text will be disregarded.
The presentation of information on the form will be taken into account when assessing your
