OIRT: what we do
• Coordinate use of IT for instruction and research at Rutgers• Consult with individuals and departments on instructional and research
technology issues, use of video services, and development of new technologies not addressed by other OIT units
• Act as clearinghouse for information related to instruction and research• Develop and maintain Sakai collaboration system• Identify new instructional and research technologies, evaluate, and
facilitate adoption if believed to be valuable• Arrange for university-wide site licenses for software that supports
instruction and research
