accordance with all regulations (local, state,federal and country), that may apply to handheld/hand operated pneumatic tools.

• For safety, top performance, and maximumdurability of parts, operate this tool at 90 psig(6.2 bar/620 kPa) maximum air pressure at theinlet with 3/8” (10 mm) inside diameter air supplyhose.

• Always turn off the air supply and disconnect theair supply hose before installing, removing oradjusting any accessory on this tool, or beforeperforming any maintenance on this tool.

• Do not use damaged, frayed or deteriorated airhoses and fittings.

• Be sure all hoses and fittings are the correct sizeand are tightly secured. See Dwg. TPD905--1 for atypical piping arrangement.

• Always use clean, dry air at 90 psig maximum airpressure. Dust, corrosive fumes and/or excessivemoisture can ruin the motor of an air tool.

• Do not lubricate tools with flammable or volatileliquids such as kerosene, diesel or jet fuel.

• Do not remove any labels. Replace any damagedlabel.

USING THE TOOL• Always wear eye protection when operating or

performing maintenance on this tool.• Always wear hearing protection when operating

this tool.• Keep hands, loose clothing and long hair away

from rotating end of tool.• Note the position of the reversing lever before

operating the tool so as to be aware of the directionof rotation when operating the throttle.

• Anticipate and be alert for sudden changes inmotion during start up and operation of any powertool.

• Keep body stance balanced and firm. Do notoverreach when operating this tool. High reactiontorques can occur at or below the recommendedair pressure.

• Tool shaft may continue to rotate briefly afterthrottle is released.

• Air powered tools can vibrate in use. Vibration,repetitive motions or uncomfortable positions maybe harmful to your hands and arms. Stop usingany tool if discomfort, tingling feeling or painoccurs. Seek medical advice before resuming use.

• Use accessories recommended by Ingersoll--Rand.• Use only impact sockets and accessories. Do not

use hand (chrome) sockets or accessories.• Impact wrenches are not torque wrenches.

Connections requiring specific torque must bechecked with a torque meter after fitting with animpact wrench.

• This tool is not designed for working in explosiveatmospheres.

• This tool is not insulated against electric shock.• Prevent exposure and breathing of harmful dust

and particles created by power tool use:Some dust created by power sanding, sawing,grinding, drilling and other constructionactivities contains chemicals known to causecancer, birth defects or other reproductiveharm. Some examples of these chemicals are:-- lead from lead based paints,-- crystalline silica from bricks and cementand other masonry products, and

-- arsenic and chromium from chemicallytreated lumber.

Your risk from these exposures varies,depending on how often you do this type ofwork. To reduce your exposure to thesechemicals: work in a well ventilated area, andwork with approved safety equipment, such asthose dust masks that are specially designed tofilter out microscopic particles.

ADJUSTMENTS

POWER REGULATOR

Model 212 Impact Wrench is equipped with acombination power regulator/reverse valve designed toprovide power adjustment in the forward direction whilemaintaining full power in the reverse direction. Thepower output is calibrated by stamped numbers “1”through “5”.

SETTING THE POWER REGULATOR

Power Adjustment for Model 212The Model 212 Impact Wrench incorporates a powerregulator into the reverse mechanism that allows theoperator to have either full power output in one directionand reduced power output in the other direction or fullpower output in both directions. To adjust the power,proceed as follows:For full power in both directions, rotate the ReverseValve (25) until the notch on each end of the ReverseValve aligns with the number 5 on each side of thehousing.

The numbers 1 thru 5 on thehousing are only for referenceand DO NOT denote a specificpower output. One (1)designates the lowest poweroutput while five (5) denotesthe highest.

For reduced power in the forward direction and fullpower in the reverse direction, push the reverse valveinward on the right side of the tool and rotate the reversevalve until the notch on the right side aligns with thedesired number on the right side. This provides reducedpower in forward but full power in reverse when thereverse valve is pushed in the opposite direction.See Dwg. TPD1248.

For reduced power in the reverse direction and fullpower in the forward direction, push the reverse valveinward on the left side of the tool and rotate the reversevalve until the notch on the left side aligns with thedesired number on the left side. This provides full powerin forward but reduced power in reverse when the reversevalve is pushed the opposite direction.See Dwg. TPD1249.

Always use of an air line lubricator with these tools.We recommend the following Filter--Lubricator--RegulatorUnit:

After each eight hours of operation, unless an air linelubricator is used, inject 1.5 cc of Ingersoll--RandNo. 50 Oil into the inlet of the tool and run the toolbriefly.After each forty--eight hours of operation, or asexperience indicates, inject about 3 cc of Ingersoll--RandNo. 100 Grease into the Grease Fitting (19A, 31).

MISE EN SERVICE DE L’OUTIL• Cet outil doit toujours être exploité, inspecté et

entretenu conformément à toutes lesréglementations (locales, départementales,fédérales et nationales), applicables aux outilspneumatiques tenus/commandés à la main.

• Pour la sécurité, les performances optimales et ladurabilité maximale des pièces, cet outil doit êtreconnecté à une alimentation d’air comprimé de6,2 bar (620 kPa) maximum à l’entrée, avec unflexible de 10 mm de diamètre intérieur.

• Couper toujours l’alimentation d’air comprimé etdébrancher le flexible d’alimentation avantd’installer, déposer ou ajuster tout accessoire surcet outil, ou d’entreprendre une opérationd’entretien quelconque sur l’outil.

• Ne pas utiliser des flexibles ou des raccordsendommagés, effilochés ou détériorés.

• S’assurer que tous les flexibles et les raccords sontcorrectement dimensionnés et bien serrés. VoirPlan TPD905--1 pour un exemple typed’agencement des tuyauteries.

• Utiliser toujours de l’air sec et propre à unepression maximum de 6,2 bar. La poussière, lesfumées corrosives et/ou une humidité excessivepeuvent endommager le moteur d’un outilpneumatique.

• Ne jamais lubrifier les outils avec des liquidesinflammables ou volatiles tels que le kérosène, legasol ou le carburant d’aviation.

• Ne retirer aucune étiquette. Remplacer touteétiquette endommagée.

UTILISATION DE L’OUTIL• Porter toujours des lunettes de protection pendant

l’utilisation et l’entretien de cet outil.• Porter toujours une protection acoustique pendant

l’utilisation de cet outil.• Tenir les mains, les vêtements flous et les cheveux

longs, éloignés de l’extrémité rotative de l’outil.• Noter la position du levier d’inversion avant de

mettre l’outil en marche de manière à savoir dansquel sens il va tourner lorsque la commande estactionnée.

• Prévoir, et ne pas oublier, que tout outil motoriséest susceptible d’à--coups brusques lors de sa miseen marche et pendant son utilisation.

• Garder une position équilibrée et ferme. Ne pas sepencher trop en avant pendant l’utilisation de cetoutil. Des couples de réaction élevés peuvent se

produire à, ou en dessous, de la pression d’airrecommandée.

• La rotation des accessoires de l’outil peutcontinuer pendant un certain temps après lerelâchement de la gâchette.

• Les outils pneumatiques peuvent vibrer pendantl’exploitation. Les vibrations, les mouvementsrépétitifs et les positions inconfortables peuventcauser des douleurs dans les mains et les bras.N’utiliser plus d’outils en cas d’inconfort, depicotements ou de douleurs. Consulter un médecinavant de recommencer à utiliser l’outil.

• Utiliser les accessoires recommandés parIngersoll-Rand.

• N’utiliser que les douilles et les accessoires pourclés à chocs. Ne pas utiliser les douilles etaccessoires (chromés) de clés manuelles.

• Les clés à chocs ne sont pas des appareilsdynamométriques. Les connexions nécessitant uncouple de serrage spécifique doivent être vérifiéesavec un mesureur de couple après avoir étéassemblées avec un clé à chocs.

• Cet outil n’est pas conçu pour fonctionner dans desatmosphères explosives.

• Cet outil n’est pas isolé contre les chocs électriques.• Evitez toute exposition et respiration des poussières

et particules nocives créées par l’emploi de l’outilpneumatique:

Certaines poussières produites par lesopérations de ponçage, sciage, meulage,perçage et autres activités de constructioncontiennent des produits chimiques qui sontreconnus comme pouvant causer le cancer, desinfirmités de naissance ou d’autres risques àeffets nocifs. Parmi ces produits chimiques ontrouve:-- le plomb des peintures à base de plomb,-- les cristaux de silice contenus dans lesbriques, le ciment et d’autres produits demaçonnerie, et

-- l’arsenic et le chrome des bois traitéschimiquement.

Le risque présenté par l’exposition à cespoussières est fonction de la fréquence et dutype de travail effectué. Pour réduirel’exposition à ces produits chimiques :travaillez dans une zone bien aérée, et utilisezles équipements de sécurité approuvés, tels queles masques à poussière qui sont spécialementconçus pour filtrer et arrêter les particulesmicroscopiques.

NOTEL’utilisation de rechanges autres que les pièces d’origine Ingersoll--Randpeut causer des risques d’insécurité, réduire lesperformances de l’outil et augmenter l’entretien, et peut annuler toutes les garanties.

RÉGLAGES

RÉGULATEUR DE PUISSANCELa clé à chocs Modèle 212 est équipée d’un ensemblecombiné régulateur de puissance/soupape d’inversiondestiné à permettre le réglage de puissance en marcheavant tout en maintenant la pleine puissance en marchearrière. La puissance fournie est indiquée par des numérospoinçonnés de 1” à 5”.REGLAGE DU REGULATEUR DE PUISSANCERéglage de la puissance du Modèle 212La clé à chocs Modèle 212 comporte un régulateur depuissance dans son mécanisme d’inversion de manière àce que l’opérateur puisse avoir soit une pleine puissancedans une direction et une puissance réduite dans l’autre,soit une pleine puissance dans les deux directions. Pourajuster la puissance, procéder comme suit :Pour obtenir la pleine puissance dans les deuxdirections, tourner la soupape d’inversion (25) jusqu’à ceque l’encoche aux deux extrémités de la soupaped’inversion soit alignée par rapport au numéro 5 dechaque côté du carter.

NOTELes numéros 5 à 1 du carterne sont donnés qu’à titre deguide et NE dénotent PAS unepuissance spécifique. Un (1)indique la puissance la plusfaible tandis que cinq (5)indique la puissance la plusélevée.

Pour obtenir une puissance réduite dans le sens avantet la pleine puissance dans le sens arrière, pousser lasoupape d’inversion vers l’intérieur sur le côté droit del’outil et tourner la soupape d’inversion jusqu’à ce quel’encoche du côté droit de la soupape soit alignée parrapport au numéro désiré sur le côté droit. Ce réglagefournit une puissance réduite dans le sens avant, mais unepleine puissance dans le sens arrière lorsque la soupaped’inversion est poussée dans la direction opposée.Voir Plan TPD1248.

Pour obtenir une puissance réduite dans le sens arrièreet la pleine puissance dans le sens avant, pousser lasoupape d’inversion vers l’intérieur sur le côté gauche del’outil et tourner la soupape d’inversion jusqu’à ce quel’encoche du côté gauche de la soupape soit alignée parrapport au numéro désiré sur le côté gauche. Ce réglagefournit la pleine puissance dans le sens avant, mais unepuissance réduite dans le sens arrière lorsque la soupaped’inversion est poussée dans la direction opposée.Voir Plan TPD1249.

MISE EN SERVICE DE L’OUTIL

LUBRIFICATION

Utiliser toujours un lubrificateur avec ces outils. Nousrecommandons l’emploi du filtre--régulateur--lubrificateursuivant :

Toutes les huit heures de fonctionnement, si unlubrificateur de ligne n’est pas utilisé, injecter 1,5 cm3

d’huile Ingersoll--Rand No. 50 dans le raccordd’admission de l’outil et faire marcher l’outil brièvement.Toutes les quarante--huit heures de fonctionnement,ou en fonction de l’expérience, injecter environ 3 cm3 degraisse Ingersoll--Rand No. 100 dans le raccord degraissage (19A, 31).

INBETRIEBNAHME DES WERKZEUGES• Das Werkzeug stets nach den örtlich und

landesweit geltenden Vorschriften fürhandgehaltene/handbetriebeneDruckluftwerkzeuge betreiben.

• Zur Erzielung höchster Sicherheit, Leistung undHaltbarkeit der Teile sollte dieses Werkzeug miteinem maximalen Luftdruck von 6,2 bar/620 kPa(90 psig) am Lufteinlaß und einemLuftzufuhrschlauch 10 mm (3/8”)Innendurchmesser betrieben werden.

• Vor Wartungsarbeiten und dem Austausch vonZubehör ist das Werkzeug von derDruckluftversorgung abzuschalten.

• Keine beschädigten, durchgescheuerten oderabgenutzten Luftschläuche und Anschlüsseverwenden.

• Darauf achten, daß alle Schläuche und Anschlüssedie passende Größe haben und korrekt befestigtsind. In Zeichnung TPD905--1 ist eine typischeRohrleitungsanordnung abgebildet.

• Stets saubere, trockene Luft verwenden und einenLuftdruck von 6,2 bar verwenden. Staub, ätzendeDämpfe und/oder Feuchtigkeit können den Motoreines Druckluftwerkzeuges beschädigen.

• Die Werkzeuge nicht mit brennbaren oderflüchtigen Flüssigkeiten wie Kerosin und Dieselschmieren.

• Keine Aufkleber entfernen. Beschädigte Aufkleberaustauschen.

WERKZEUGEINSATZ• Beim Betreiben oder Warten dieses Werkzeuges

stets Augenschutz tragen.• Beim Betreiben dieses Werkzeuges stets

Gehörschutz tragen.• Hände, lose Bekleidungsstücke und lange Haare

vom rotierenden Ende des Werkzeuges fernhalten.• Vor der Inbetriebnahme auf die Position des

Umsteuerhebels achten, damit bei Betätigen derDrossel die Drehrichtung schon bekannt ist.

• Bei Start und Betrieb eines Werkzeuges aufRückschlag achten und darauf vorbereitet sein.

Schlagschrauber der Baureihe 212 sind mit einerKombination von Leistungsregler/Umsteuerventilausgerüstet, um Leistungseinstellung in Vorwärtsrichtungbei konstanter Höchstleistung in Rückwärtsrichtung zuermöglichen. Die Nutzleistung ist durch eingestempelteNummern “1” bis “5” kalibriert.

EINSTELLUNG DES LEISTUNGSREGLERS

Leistungsregelung für Modell 212Schlagschrauber der Baureihe 212 sind mit einemLeistungsregler für den Umsteuermechanismusausgestattet, mit Hilfe dessen der Bediener entweder volleLeistung in einer Richtung und verringerte Leistung in dieandere Richtung oder volle Leistung in beiden Richtungeneinstellen kann. Zum Einstellen der Leistung wirdfolgendermaßen vorgegangen:Für volle Leistung in beiden Richtungen dasUmsteuerventil (25) so weit drehen bis die Kerben anbeiden Enden des Ventils mit der Nummer 5 an beidenSeiten des Gehäuses übereinstimmen.

Die Nummern 1 bis 5 auf demGehäuse dienen nur alsReferenz und bedeutenKEINE bestimmte Leistung.Eins (1) steht für geringste,Fünf (5) für höchste Leistung.

MESSA IN SERVIZIO DELL’ATTREZZO• Usare, ispezionare e mantenere sempre

quest’attrezzo secondo tutti i regolamenti (locali,statali, federali e nazionali), che possano essereapplicabili agli attrezzi a mano pneumatici.

• Per sicurezza, massime prestazioni e massimadurabilità delle parti, usare quest’attrezzo ad unamassima pressione d’aria di 90 psig (6,2 bar/620 kPa) all’ingresso con un flessibile dialimentazione dell’aria con diametro interno di3/8” (10 mm).

• Disinserire sempre l’alimentazione aria e staccareil relativo tubo dall’attrezzo, prima di installare,togliere o regolare qualsiasi accessorio, oppureprima di eseguire qualsiasi operazione dimanutenzione dell’attrezzo.

• Non adoperare tubi e raccordi danneggiati,consunti o deteriorati.

• Assicurarsi che tutti i tubi ed i raccordi siano dellecorrette dimensioni e saldamente serrati.Consultare il disegno TPD905--1 per una tipicadisposizione dei tubi.

• Usare sempre aria pulita ed asciutta alla pressionemax di 90 psig. Polvere, fumi corrosivi e/o uneccesso di umidità possono rovinare il motore di unattrezzo pneumatico.

• Non lubrificare gli utensili con liquidi infiammabilio volatili come kerosene, gasolio o combustibile peraviogetti.

• Non togliere nessuna etichetta. Sostituire eventualietichette danneggiate.

COME USARE L’ATTREZZO• Indossare sempre degli occhiali protettivi quando si

adopera questo attrezzo o se ne esegue lamanutenzione.

• Indossare sempre delle cuffie protettive quando siadopera questo attrezzo.

• Tenere le mani, gli indumenti sciolti ed i capellilunghi distanti dall’estremità battentedell’attrezzo.

• Notare la posizione della leva d’inversione primadi azionare l’attrezzo in modo da essere conscidella direzione di ruotazione quando si azional’immissione.

• Fare attenzione e cercare di anticipare improvvisevariazioni di movimento durante l’avviamento el’uso di qualsiasi utensile pneumatico.

• Nell’usare l’attrezzo, mantenere con il corpo unaposizione salda e ben bilanciata. Non sbilanciarsi

durante l’uso di questo attrezzo. Delle elevatereazioni di coppia si possono verificare allapressione d’aria raccomandata o inferiore.

• L’accessorio dell’utensile potrebbe continuare afunzionare brevemente dopo che è stata disinserital’immissione.

• Gli attrezzi pneumatici possono vibrare durantel’uso. Le vibrazioni, i movimenti ripetitivi o leposizioni scomode possono risultare dannosi per lemani e le braccia. Interrompere l’uso dell’utensilese si avvertono sintomi di disagio fisico, formicolioo dolore. Interpellare un medico prima diriprendere il lavoro.

• Prevenire l’esposizione e la respirazione di polveree particelle pericolose dovute all’uso si stumentielettrici:

La polvere causata da smerigliatura, segatura,macinatura, trapanatura e altre attivitàrelative alla costruzione contiene sostanzechimiche note come cause di cancro, dimenomazioni alla nascita o di altri danni legatialla riproduzione. Tali sostanze chimiche sono,ad esempio:-- vernici a base di piombo,-- silice cristallina derivante da mattoni ecemento e altri prodotti per muratura,

-- arsenico e cromo derivanti da legnametrattato chimicamente.

I rischi causati dalle esposizioni variano inbase alla frequenza con cui viene eseguitoquesto tipo di lavori. Per ridurre l’esposizionea tali sostanze chimiche: lavorare in una zonaben ventilata, con attrezzature di sicurezzaapprovate come le maschere per protezionedalla polvere progettate specificamente pereliminare con il filtro le particellemicroscopiche.

L’erogazione di potenza ècalibrata dai numeri da 1 a 5 stampigliati.IMPOSTAZIONE DEL REGOLATORE DIPOTENZARegolazione di potenza per il modello 212La chiave ad impulsi modello 212 incorpora un regolatoredi potenza nel meccanismo d’inversione che consenteall’operatore di avere o piena erogazione di potenza in unadirezione ed erogazione di potenza ridotta nell’altradirezione oppure piene erogazione di potenza in entrambele direzioni. Per regolare la potenza, procedere nel modoseguente:Per piena potenza in entrambe le direzioni, girare lavalvola d’inversione fino a quando l’intacco su ciascunaestremit della valvola d’inversione sia allineato colnumero 5 su ciascun lato della sede.

I numeri compresi tra 1 e 5posti sulla sede valgono soloper riferimento e NONdenotano uno specifico valoredi erogazione di potenza. Uno(1) indica l’erogazione piùbassa di potenza e cinque (5)quella più alta.

Per potenza ridotta nella direzione in avanti e pienapotenza nella direzione in inverso, spingere la valvolad’inversione verso l’interno sulla destra dell’attrezzo egirare la valvola stessa fino a quando l’intacco sulla destrasia allineato col numero desiderato sulla destra. Ciòprovvede ridotta potenza in avanti ma piena potenzaall’inverso quando la valvola d’inversione viene spintanella direzione opposta. Vedi Disegno TPD1248.

Per potenza ridotta nella direzione in inverso e pienapotenza nella direzione in avanti, spingere la valvolad’inversione verso l’interno sulla sinistra dell’attrezzo egirare la valvola stessa fino a quando l’intacco sullasinistra sia allineato col numero desiderato sulla sinistra.Ciò provvede piena potenza in avanti ma potenza ridottaall’inverso quando la valvola d’inversione viene spintanella direzione opposta. Regulador de PotenciaLas Llaves de Impacto Modelo 212 están equipadas conuna válvula reguladora/invertidora de potencia combinadadiseñada para ofrecer ajuste de potencia en dirección haciadelante mientras mantiene potencia completa en lainversa. La potencia se calibra con los númerosestampados “1” al “5”.

COLOCACIÓN DE REGULADOR DEPOTENCIA

Ajuste de potencia para Modelo 212La Llave de Impacto Modelo 212 incorpora un Reguladorde Potencia en el mecanismo de inversión que permite aloperario tener potencia completa en una dirección yreducida en la otra dirección, o potencia completa enambas direcciones. Para ajuste de potencia, proceda comosigue:Para potencia completa en ambas direcciones, gire laVálvula de Inversión (25) hasta que la muesca en cadaextremo de Válvula de Inversión esté alineada con elnúmero 5 en cada lado de la carcasa.

NOTA

Los números del 1 al 5 quehay en la carcasa son sólo dereferencia y NO indican unapotencia específica. Uno (1)indica la potencia menormientras que cinco (5) indicala mayor.

Para potencia reducida en dirección hacia delante ypotencia completa en la inversa, empuje hacia adentro laválvula de inversión situada en el lateral derecho de laherramienta y gire la válvula de inversión hasta que lamarca en el lateral derecho esté alineada con el númerodeseado en la derecha. Esto ofrece potencia reducida endirección hacia delante y completa en la inversa cuando laválvula de inversión sea empujada hacia el lado opuesto.Vea Esq. TPD1248.

Para potencia reducida en dirección inversa y potenciacompleta en la dirección hacia delante, empuje haciaadentro la válvula de inversión situada en el lateralderecho de la herramienta y gire la válvula de inversiónhasta que la marca en el lateral izquierdo esté alineada conel número deseado en la izquierda. INGEBRUIKNEMING VAN HET GEREEDSCHAP

• Dit gereedschap altijd bedienen, controleren enonderhouden in overeenstemming met allevoorschriften (plaatselijk, staat, federaal en land),die betrekking hebben ophand--gehouden/hand--bediende pneumatischegereedschappen.

• Voor veiligheid, topprestatie, en maximalebestendigheid van de onderdelen dit gereedschaplaten werken bij een maximale luchtdruk van90 psig (6.2 bar/620 kPa) bij de inlaat met eenluchttoevoerslang, die een inwendige diameter van3/8” (10 mm) heeft.

• Men dient te allen tijde de luchtinlaat af te sluitenen de luchttoevoerslang te ontkoppelen voordatenig deel aan dit gereedschap wordt aangebracht,verwijderd of afgesteld, of voordat enig onderhoudaan dit gereedschap mag worden uitgevoerd.

• Geen beschadigde, gerafelde of versletenluchtslangen of fittingen gebruiken.

• Zorg ervoor dat alle slangen en fittingen de juisteafmetingen hebben en goed zijn vastgemaakt. Zietekening TPD905--1 voor een typisch leidingnet.

• Altijd schone, droge lucht gebruiken bij eenmaximum luchtdruk van 90 psig. Stof,corroderende uitwasemingen en/of te grotevochtigheid kan de motor van eendrukluchtgereedschap ruïneren.

• De gereedschappen niet smeren met ontvlambareof vluchtige vloeistoffen als petroleum, diesel of(straal) vliegtuigbrandstoffen

• Geen typeplaatjes verwijderen. Beschadigdetypeplaatjes moeten worden vervangen.

GEBRUIK VAN HET GEREEDSCHAP• U moet te allen tijde oogbeschermers dragen

wanneer u dit gereedschap bedient of eronderhoudswerkzaamheden aan uitvoert.

• Altijd oorbeschermers dragen wanneer ditgereedschap wordt bediend.

• Houd handen, losse kleding of lang haar weg vanhet draaiende eind van het gereedschap.

• Voordat het gereedschap in gebruik wordtgenomen eerst op de stand van de omkeerhendelletten zodat u de draairichting kent wanneer deregelaar wordt gebruikt.

• Let op en anticipeer op plotselinge veranderingenin de werking van enig persluchtgereedschap zoweltijdens de start als gedurende het in bedrijf zijn.

• Steeds in een goede houding staan. Als u hetgereedschap bedient mag u zich niet te veruitstrekken. Hoge reactiekoppels kunnen

voorkomen bij of beneden de aanbevolenluchtdruk.

• De as van het gereedschap kan even blijvendraaien nadat de bediening is losgelaten.

• Persluchtgereedschappen kunnen tijdens gebruikervan trillen. Trillingen, zich herhalendebewegingen, of ongemakkelijke houdingen kunnenschadelijk zijn voor uw handen en armen. Stop metbediening van enig gereedschap wanneer uongemak, een tintelend gevoel of pijn ervaart.Zoek medisch advies alvorens het werk tehervatten.

• Uitsluitend de door Ingersoll--Rand aanbevolenbijbehorende hulpstukken gebruiken.

• Uitsluitend moerdoppen voor impactdoppen enbijbehorende hulpstukken gebruiken. Geenhandmoersleutels (chroom) of bijbehorendehulpstukken gebruiken.

• Slagmoersleutels zijn geen momentsleutels.Aansluitingen die een specifiek koppel nodighebben moeten, nadat zij met een slagmoersleutelszijn aangebracht, met een momentsleutel wordengecontroleerd.

• Dit gereedschap is niet ontworpen om er mee inexplosieve omgevingen te werken.

• Dit gereedschap is niet geïsoleerd tegen elektrischeschokken.

• Voorkom blootstelling aan en inademen vanschadelijke stoffen een deeltjes die vrijkomen bijgebruik van elektrisch gereedschap:

De stof die veroorzaakt wordt door schuren,zagen, afslijpen en boren met elektrischgereedschap, alsmede andereconstructiewerkzaamheden, bevat chemicaliëndie bekend staan als kankerverwekkend en diegeboorteafwijkingen of andere voor devoortplanting nadelige gevolgen kunnenhebben. Enkele van deze chemicaliën zijn:-- lood uit loodhoudende verf ;-- kristallijnsilica in baksteen, cement enandere metselwerkproducten;

-- arsenicum en chroom in met chemicaliënbehandeld timmerhout.

De risicofactor op grond van dezeblootstellingen varieert, afhankelijk van deregelmaat waarmee u deze werkzaamhedenverricht. De blootstelling aan deze chemicaliënkan als volgt worden gereduceerd: werk in eengoed geventileerde ruimte en metgoedgekeurde beschermingsmiddelen, zoalsstofmaskers die specifiek ontworpen zijn voorhet uitfilteren van microscopische deeltjes.

Het gebruiken van andere dan originele Ingersoll--Rand onderdelen kan gevaar opleveren voor de veiligheid, en eenvermindering met zich brengen van het prestatievermogen van het gereedschap en een toeneming van het onderhoudervan; het kan een vervallen van alle garantie--bepalingen tot gevolg hebben.Reparaties mogen uitsluitend worden uitgevoerd door hiertoe gemachtigd en geschoold personeel. KRACHTREGELAARHet Type 212 Slagmoersleutel is uitgerust met eencombinatie krachtregelaar/omkeerventiel ontworpen omeen vermogensafstelling in voorwaartse richting te geventerwijl vol vermogen in de omgekeerde richtinggehandhaafd blijft. De vermogensafgifte is gekalibreerddoor middel van de ingeperste cijfers ”1” tot en met ”5”.

AFSTELLING VAN DE KRACHTREGELAAR

Vermogensafstelling voor Type 212Het Type 212 Slagmoersleutel heeft een krachtregelaarmet een omkeermechanisme dat de operateur toestaat omvol vermogen in één richting te hebben en gereduceerdvermogensafgifte in de andere richting, of een vollevermogensafgifte in beide richtingen. Het vermogen wordtop de volgende wijze afgesteld:Voor vol vermogen in beide richtingen de omkeerventiel(25) zo ver ronddraaien tot de keep aan elke kant van hetomkeerventiel in lijn is met het cijfer 5 dat is aangebrachtaan elke kant van het huis.

De cijfers 1 tot en met 5dienen uitsluitend alsreferentie en geven GEENspecifieke vermogensafgifteweer. Het cijfer één (1) staatvoor de laagstevermogensuitgang terwijl hetcijfer vijf (5) de grootstevermogensuitgang weergeeft.

Voor gereduceerd vermogen in de voorwaartse richtingen vol vermogen in de omgekeerde richting hetomkeerventiel aan de rechter kant van het gereedschapnaar binnen drukken en het omkeerventiel ronddraaien totde keep op de rechter kant in lijn is met het gewenstecijfer op de rechter kant. Dit zorgt voor verminderdvermogen in voorwaartse richting en voor vol vermogenin omgekeerde richting wanneer het omkeerventiel in detegengestelde richting wordt geduwd.Zie tekening TPD1248.

Voor gereduceerd vermogen in de omgekeerde richtingen vol vermogen in de voorwaartse richting hetomkeerventiel aan de linker kant van het gereedschap naarbinnen drukken en het omkeerventiel ronddraaien tot dekeep op de linker kant in lijn is met het gewenste cijfer opde linker kant. Dit zorgt voor vol vermogen invoorwaartse richting en voor verminderd vermogen inomgekeerde richting wanneer het omkeerventiel in detegengestelde richting wordt geduwd.Zie tekening TPD1249.
