SPIRIT

Team Members,

April is upon us, which means it is time to celebrate the arrival of

spring. Spring is a time for reflection, rejuvenation and growth. Gila River Casinos has created its own rejuvenation and growth through constant reflection. As you are aware, the Enterprise has undergone a great deal of changes recently. In the height of new competition entering into the market and a slowing economy, these changes were both imperative and necessary. Change is essential in continuing the Enterprise’s position as a leading gaming entity in the Valley.

When an organization is doing well, it is often hard to understand why changes are required. As a result of the changes we have recently implemented, the Enterprise recently achieved its best quarter in history. This positive momentum continues to grow. These results would not be possible without all of our team members working together for a common goal.

Thank you for your support and efforts. We will continue to strive to produce the best results for our guests, team members, and the Gila River Indian Community!

Sincerely,

With summertime quickly approaching, many of us will be spending more time

outdoors as we take advantage of the many activities that the Valley has to offer. While we are enjoying our time outside, it is important to remember the warm weather in April through

October also encourages rattlesnakes to come out.

If you see a snake, give it room and don’t agitate it. By doing this, you should not encounter an attack. For the most part, the rattlesnakes in Southern Arizona are defensive, not aggressive. They will not strike unless provoked.

Here is what you should do if you encounter a snake while on property at Gila River Casinos.

1. Alert Security - Security will contact operations/landscaping to remove the snake.

2. Do not try to pick up the snake; leave it alone.

3. Keep others away from the snake until Security arrives.

4. Do not try and get close to take a picture or a selfie with the snake.

5. Always use common sense when dealing with a snake, venomous or not.
