Solenoid repair kit for Toyota Lexus

Instructions - Small Canister

1. Insert spacer 1a into no.1 end of the dual holding fixture.

3. Use the opening tool to roll back the canister lip, rotating FIRST anti clockwise, THEN in a clockwise direction.

4. Remove the turret and valve section, followed by all internal parts for cleaning.

2. Insert small canister solenoid into no.1 end of the dual

holding fixture.

6. Change to spacer 2b.

8. Remove using the pin, rotate 180, re-insert and repeat the

process.

10. Reassemble all internal parts into canister.

7. Insert the straightening tool and press down.

9. Change back to spacer 2a.

11. Align small notch with centre of connector.

5. Change to spacer 1b. 13. Align the connector with the cutout on closing tool.

12. Align the larger of the two notches on the turret with the sloton the closing tool.

11. Press down gently.

7. Press down firmly.

9. Change back to spacer 1a. 3. Use the opening tool to roll back the canister lip, rotating FIRST anti clockwise, THEN in a clockwise direction.

1. Insert spacer 2a into no.2 on dual holding fixture.

4. Remove turret cap as shown.

6. Use this tool to straighten the canister. 14. Press down closing tool to complete process.

8. Use the pin to remove and rotate the canister 180. Re-

insert and repeat the process.

10. Reassemble all internal parts and insert into canister.

2. Insert large solenoid into no.2 on the dual holding fixture.

5. Disassemble and clean all parts.

Instructions - Large Canister
