Meet Retail IT Brand Standards. It ensures that your station complies with EMV requirements and can accept Mobile payments at your dispensers

Gain the ability to Remote Software Download (RSD). Why not do software downloads when it’s convenient for you and your business? Plus, you can avoid a tech visit.

Mobile app configurations in the POS need to be updated, starting December 7, 2021. Full details will be provided.

POS software releases in Q4 2021 will include loyalty stacking functionality needed for the new loyalty program. Great time to use RSD.

Next steps:

OverviewThis document provides instruction to connect with P97 which is the new Mobile Payment Processing Application (MPPA). Customers will then be able to use the Chevron/Texaco Mobile App at the station. This update should be made on or after December 7, 2021.

Information to know before/after updateAn end of day shift report is required prior to configuring for P97, so you may plan this update with your end of day process. These configuration steps are expected to take approximately 20 minutes. Only those with configuration access may perform this update. Store Manager may need to get access to the Network Programming menu (if that’s how a site has setup their security groups), which they will get by calling Verifone Help Desk. Call the Chevron dedicated line at Verifone Help Desk with questions (888-777-1891). Choose option 1 (Technical Support), enter 7-digit service ID, option 2 (POS Technical Support).

Note: If a software update is required and you are having a technician install the update, request that the technician also update the app configuration.
