ArrivalsThe CIEP is at your service from the moment

you arrive.The reception is open daily from 7 a.m. to7.30 p.m.There is a night guard from 7.30 p.m. onwards.

Badge The badge given to you on arrival will help CIEP identify you,especially when entering the self-service and salle à manger(dining room).

CaféThe bar in the salle café is open from 12.30 to 2 p.m. Mondays toFridays

Centre de ressources et d’ingénierie documentaires (CRID)The CRID, located on the 1st floor, is open all day Wednesdays toFridays from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. It contains a wealth of documentsrelating to language teaching methodology and particularly theteaching of French as a foreign language, the latest news aboutFrench and foreign education systems and a range of multime-dia resources and journals. The centre's staff will be happy tohelp you with any inquiries.

Departure On the day of your departure, rooms must be vacated at 9am, ex-cept for Sundays and public holidays. Please return your magneticcard, photocopy card and guest feedback questionnaire to re-ception.

Drinks machines There are three dispensers from which you may buy hot and colddrinks and sweets in the salle café on the 1st floor.

Fire / Smoke AlarmIn order to avoid setting off the alarm, please do not smoke inyour room and firmly shut your bathroom door while and aftershowering, and make sure your window is shut when you go out.Should the alarm go off, please leave your room and head for theemergency exits on the 2nd floor leading to the main courtyard.

HealthTo obtain the contact details of a doctor at any time, or in caseof medical emergencies, please contact reception by dialling9 or 6155.

HousekeepingRooms are cleaned daily from Monday to Saturday (except onholidays). The sheets are changed once a week and bathroomlinen is changed on request (see instructions in bathroom).

IT The IT suite on the ground floor, accessible 24/7 has several com-puters with Internet connection. This room is non-smoking. Drinksand food are prohibited. You may connect to the internet in yourroom. Please ask reception to create an access account for you.

Luggage room On your day of arrival and departure, you may leave your lug-gage in the bagagerie (luggage room) situated near the recep-tion area. The keys will be given to you at the reception.

Magnetic card Keep this card in your possession at all times: it opens your room andactivates the electricity once inserted into the slot near the door. Please remember to remove the card from the slot when youleave your room.

Mail You may leave outgoing mail with the correct postage at recep-tion and collect incoming mail sent to you.

Meals The CIEP has a salle à manger (dining room) and a salle café(coffee room) on the 1st floor, as well as a self-service on the2nd floor to the right of the main courtyard. These three rooms are all non-smoking. During the week, theself-service is open for breakfast from 7.30 to 9 a.m. Lunch is served in the dining room between 12.30 and 1 p.m.and dinner in the self-service cafeteria from 7 to 7.45 p.m. On the weekend, breakfast is served from 7.30 to 9.30 a.m.

PhotocopyingThere is a photocopier on the 1st floor, salle café. A photoco-pying card, available from reception, is required to use it.

Relaxation There is a piano in the salle café on the 1st floor. The salon del’horloge on the 4th floor is a relaxation and games area (billiards,table-football). The keys are available at reception in exchangefor your badge.

Rooms The 90 rooms at CIEP are all single rooms, equipped with tele-phone, television, internet socket, bathroom and hair-dryer. Thesocket in the bathroom is for the use of electric shavers only. Thevoltage is 220/240 V.You will find a welcome tray in your room, with coffee, tea, her-bal tea and biscuits. All our rooms are non-smoking. The cookingand storage of food are prohibited. Only guests staying at CIEP may enter the rooms. Please main-tain silence after 10 p.m.

SecurityWhen entering CIEP after 7.30 p.m., please show your badge tothe night guard. In case of emergency, contact the reception24/7. CIEP cannot be held responsible for thefts.

TelephoneYou can receive calls in your room and call reception by first dial-ling 9. For all outside calls, please use the telephone booths onthe 3rd floor (after room 311) and 4th floor (next to the lift). You may purchase cards in the salle café on the 1st floor, fromone of the vending machines.

Training roomsAll our training rooms are equipped with audio-visual and IT fa-cilities. Please do not leave your personal effects unattended.The keys will be given to you at the reception. The rooms arenon-smoking. Drinks and food are prohibited.
