Integral IP CX –Redundancy as a principle.The components of the Integral IP CXare intelligent and powerful. Fires aredetected at the earliest possible stage.With its software redundancy the firealarm control panel carries out its jobconsequently and efficiently.Redundancy’s unique features ensurethat the fire alarm control panel can raisethe alarm at any time. The Integral IPCX monitors itself. Consequently, theability of the entire fire alarm systemto sound the alarm remains fullyoperational and fully available.

Integral IP CX – settingnew trends and standards.New quality standards have been setfor preventive fire safety with theIntegral IP CX fire alarm control panel.IP (Internet Protocol) is the technologyof the future, having proven itself on adaily basis worldwide as a cornerstoneof the Internet, and everyday life withoutis inconceivable. This technology allowsus to form and construct completelynew types of network structure for firealarm systems. All possible functionsand controllers can be freelyprogrammed and can be networkedwith system partners.

Integral IP CX –with future-oriented technology.The Integral IP CX can act as apartner in the Integral LAN meshnetwork and is connected into thenetwork via Ethernet interfaces. Sothat the control panel can also make useof the building’s IT infrastructure forcertain applications, it is fitted with IP(Internet Protocol) technology. In theversions CXA, CXB and CXF theIntegral IP CX is a 1 and 2 loop controlpanel, with up to four loops beingpossible with the CXF model.

Integral IP CX – the platformfor optimal fire safety.Individual preventive fire safetymeasures can be deployed perfectlywith the Integral IP CX fire alarmcontrol panel, as the system is suitedprimarily for deployment in small andmedium-sized buildings. It is thereforepossible to offer comprehensive securityand safety for small and medium-sizedenterprises too at affordable costsusing the latest technology. TheIntegral IP CX fits the requirementsof these partners in particular dueto the fact that it can be flexiblydeployed in almost endless differentuses. Compatible and made to order.The large number of extra functions allowus to offer tailored concepts providingindividual solutions. All links functionbetween detectors, elements, extinguishingcomponents and fire alarm devices overloop circuits and subcontrol units.Compatible and made to order! Both theseimportant properties characterise theIntegral IP CX accurately and reasonably.As with all Schrack Seconet fire alarmsystems it is forward and backwardcompatible and is therefore a flexible andadaptable system. All components in thesystem can communicate with one another,even if they are from different generations.Systems that have already been installedcan therefore be upgraded and overhauledwithout technical difficulties.

Certified and approved.All Schrack Seconet systems andproducts exceed the requirementsof national and European standards.The Integral IP CX is also approvedin accordance with EN 12094, thestandard which came into force in 2004and which determines the requiredfunctions for automatic electroniccontrol and delay units.

Integral IP CX –a new approach for peripherals.The Integral IP CX fire alarm controlpanel is one of the safest and most flexiblefire alarm systems on the market. Manyincluded extra functions make it auniversal partner in all preventive firesafety matters. A matching control systemfor extinguishing systems can beintegrated into the fire alarm system.In this case the Integral IP CX not onlyacts like a fire alarm control panel,detecting all events, but also functions asa single zone extinguishing control panel,controlling the extinguishing system.The control panel can be used as anextinguishing system control panel or acombined fire alarm and extinguishingsystem control panel.

The whole Integral IP CX system istherefore certified as both anextinguishing system control panel aswell as a combined fire alarm andextinguishing system control panel.It conforms to EN 54 part 2 and part 4,which determines the requirements,testing process and functions forfire alarm control panels.

Integral IP CX – for universal use.The extension module increased thepossible uses of and areas of deploymentof the fire alarm control panel, whichperforms under the relevant conditions.Dust, moisture or extreme temperaturesdo not faze it. Even in such conditionsit remains fully functionally, as its casecan be equipped to withstand theharshest conditions and electromagneticcompatibility (EMC) is also ensured.Self-test routines are used to ensurethan any faulty function is discoveredimmediately.

It therefore allows the numberof devices to be connected to be doubled,thereby further increased performance.Up to 250 devices per loop and increasedloop lengths of up to 3,500 metres aswell as very short start-up times bringthe proven loop circuit technologyto a higher planeof development.

Reliable servicing included.

Fire alarm control panel CXF.The Integral IP CXF is a cost-optimized fire alarm controlpanel for small systems, with a total of a maximum of500 elements able to be connected to two loop circuits inits basic version. Moreover, they also have another interface,to which either a LAN networking module, two further loopcircuits, a universal interface module or an input/outputmodule can be connected.

Each control panel forms an autarchic unit with its own powersupply and battery backup supply, to which external operatingpanels, fire brigade control panels, printers etc. can also beconnected as well as detector zones and controllers.The Integral CXF can be integrated into an Ethernet meshnetwork if required, and is fitted with software redundancyto ensure the security of the system.

The Integral IP CXF is available with several different typesof case – with or without a log printer or as a black box.

Fire alarm control panel CXA.The Integral IP CXA fire alarm control panel is a cost-optimized single loop fire alarm control panel, suitable forconnecting a single loop circuit with up to max. 250 devices.The control panel contains all the necessary interfaces forconnection to the fire brigade, as well as relay outputs and anexternal device bus connection. The Integral IP CXA can notbe networked, as is therefore not suitable for connection tosuperordinated systems.

Fire alarm control panel CXB.The Integral IP CXB fire alarm control panel is a cost-optimized single loop fire alarm control panel, suitable forconnecting a single loop circuit with up to max. 250 devices.The control panel contains an interface for the external devicebus, alarm transmission to the fire brigade or relay outputswhich are realised using loop modules. The Integral IP CXBcan not be networked, as is therefore unsuitable for connectionto superordinated systems.

Electronic Control and Delay Unit.The Integral IP CX system can also be used as anIntegral IP CXE extinguishing system control panel orcombined Integral IP CXF/CXE fire alarm/extinguishingsystem control panel. A different cabinet version is availablefor this purpose, containing an additional LED parallelindicator panel for a single extinguishing zone with extra freelyprogrammable inputs and outputs. This version of the IntegralIP CXE conforms to the standards and directives EN 12094-1and VdS 2496, and is suitable and approved for controlling asingle extinguishing zone and monitoring the followingfire extinguishing systems:

• CO2 high & low pressure extinguishing systemswhere life is or is not endangered.

• Inert gas and argon extinguishing systemswhere life is or is not endangered.

• Water spray and mist water deluge systems• Pre-action sprinkler systems• Sprinkler systems• Chemical extinguishing systems

Integral MAP external operating panels.Available with or without log printer for connection to allIntegral IP control panels. Up to 8 external operating panelscan be connected to a control panel via its own data bus, up to1,200 m from the control panel.
