Recently the most popular topic college students are talking about is doing part-time jobs. Some people think it’s quite good while others argue it’s not good. For this part, you are required to write a composition on the topic My View On Part-time Jobs. You should write at least 150 words based on the outline given in Chinese below:
1 .有些人认为大学生参加兼职工作有很多益处。2.另些人觉得大学生参加兼职工作有很多弊端。3.我的观点是……
making money to do some meaningful things — to buy books, to go traveling, etc. learning how to get along with different kinds of people in the society developing some good work habit and a sense of responsibility learning some practical skills and forming a good attitude toward labor working even harder and making better use of their time
Advantages:
Disadvantages:
getting poor grades because of less time to study forming a bad habit of spending money freely becoming interested in nothing but money affecting their health breaking the law sometimes in order to make more
money
The advantage and disadvantage of part-time job
Nowadays, many students, especially the college students, are intended to take a part-time job in their spare time. Opinions on part-time job vary from person to person. It is well known that part-time job has its advantages and disadvantages.
For one thing, taking a part-time job is helpful in broadening students’ vision and learning more about the society as well as earning some money to support their life and study so as to lessen their family financial pressure. Meanwhile, it is helpful in improving their social adaptability and communication skills.
What’s more, taking a part-time job will help them to get to know the hardship of earning money and consequently help them to realize the painstaking and love of their parents.
However, every coin has its two sides. Taking a part-time job may occupy some of their time .That’s to say, they have less time for study and rest. As a result, it may bring some bad effects to their study and health. Even worse, Some studnets have formed the bad habit of spending money freely and are interested in nothing but money and profits. They are unable to concentrate on study in class any more.
In a word, there are advantages as well as disadvantages of taking a part-time job. In my opinion, it’s worth for students to take a part-time job in their spare time. The key point for students is how to maximize the advantages and minimize the disadvantages.
