INTEGRATED DIPLOMA IN RUSSIAN

This is an intensive course at the Post-graduate level and is known as `lntegratedDiploma Course in Russian". The course gives opportunity to students to have better understanding of the language. It is intended to develop the communication

skills of the students in relation to both written and spoken Russian at

higherlevel than in the existing Certificate and Diploma courses. Emphasis is given to thetraining in translation of Russian material in Science and Technology. The coursewill also help the students to acquaint themselves with few short stories andpoems of the Russian authors. The duration of the course is one academic yearwith about 450 working hours i.e. 100 hours more than the working hour takentogether for the Certificate and Diploma courses.
