Background
• Developed in response to COM 2016 request to ECA & AUC for tools & integrated M&E framework to align the two Agendas for ease of adaptation and reporting
• Simultaneously integrates both Agendas into NDPs ➔ harmonisedadaptation & progress reporting
• Goals, targets and indicators of the two Agendas are built into the software
• Dashboards ➔ visualize the Agendas, NDPs & data at Country and sub-regional/sectoral levels

Agendas Module: reference point to learn about the two Agendas and how they align with each other
National Development Plan Module: national planning officials can align NDPs with both Agendas and analyze various aspects of their national plans using advanced data visualization tools and executive dashboards
Continental View Module: view national plans of member States; their alignment and progress against both Agendas; visualization tools and executive dashboards
Reporting Module: customized reports in a harmonized manner; allows member States to report progress towards the two Agendas from a one-stop shop

IPRT Toolkit Way Forward
• Build capacity of national Planning Officials to apply the Toolkit;
establish access for Planning Officials; provider user manuals and
guidelines
• Official Launch of IPRT across continent
• Coordinate with AUC, and the Joint Monitoring & Evaluation
Task Force on collaboration & rollout strategy
• Collaborate with UN RCs and UN agencies to disseminate and
seek application of the Toolkit
• Collaborate with ESCAP to share and integrate tools related to
SDGs planning and monitoring with Member States
