Water Data and Event Management

The overall responsibility of water utilities is to deliver good quality product (‘water’), at

appropriate pressure, in 365/24/7 manner, with minimal environmental impact and at

the lowest possible cost . Achieving this target is highly dependent on being able to

manage the three entities: assets, events and customers.

Our Water Data and Event Management solutions are capable to provide

advanced monitoring, data and event processing functionality and to optimize the

management of water and waste water networks. We have various applications

(DMA, CSO, quality, etc.) which provide an integrated environment for data generation;

data communication, data acquisitions and analysis (zonal configuration, flow

calculation and water consumption analysis, pressure management, waste water level,

velocity and flow measurement, asset management, energy management, water

quality monitoring, temporal and spatial analytics), alerts management (including

smart alarms, utilizing predictive algorithms), integration with third-party systems

(Schneider, Copa Data, Bentley, RW Systems, KeyPro, Deloitte, etc), assisting the

operational management and decision-making of the Water Utilities . There are

options for Cloud Intelligent Services utilising Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) business

model or "On premises" installation. Our applications have the capabilities to provide

web-based public access to water networks status via any standard web browser and

mobile applications.

Ultrasonic – Level & Flow (Pulsar)

Metasphere’s standard waste Water level

monitoring solution is the Point Orange/Blue

with Pulsar’s dBi. We have supplied over

1000 of these combined solutions over the

past year.

The Point unit is loop powering over 4-20mA

the Pulsar equipment and then

communicating back to a Telemetry or

SCADA system.

Hydrogen Sulphide Monitoring - Dosing

• White Paper given by Sydney Water to Oz-Water (May 16) about huge savings in chemical costs due to more accurate network monitoring that was integrated into the Central Telemetry system.

• This solution was permanently powering and monitoring the sensor, whilst capable of operating this way it has a notable impact upon the battery life.

RW Systems Water Office

• A spatial asset management system, compliant with ISO 55000

• Supports water supply including ground water, drainage and irrigation

• Covers the full asset lifecycle – from planning, to existing and then finally the decommissioning; this allows full transparency of the planning and decision procesesses that lead to the as-built situation

• Integrates with other IT systems, such as ERP, CIS, SCADA, etc. to enable a full 360⁰ perspective upon the asset data

• Beyond the basic network registration, it can assist most business processes of the various departments within a water company:– Optimize the planning of network

rehabilitation and extensions– Support daily operations such as

managing outages, or respond to CBYD requests

– Monitor DMAs for Non Revenue Water
