A second LMS?

Kaltura & Google Sites

 Asked in October 2011 by CIO to create an alternative to Sakai for faculty who wantedbetter discussion forums and/or the feeling of “one-stop shopping”

Leveraged tools within Google Apps to create a quasi LMS with as many functions of Sakai

in a short period of time. Wrapped up in Google Site.

Discussion Forum, Course Resource (Google Drive), Search, Course Calendar, RSS

News, Announcements

Used Java & Google Sites APIs to create auto-enrollment of students to course site based

on Banner registration. Updated four times/day during Add/Drop.
