Linking to Google docs

In the sharing settings change the access to ‘Anyone who has the link can view’

Copy the link into Moodle

Embedding Presentations into Moodle• If you amend the Google doc it

will automatically be updated in Moodle as it is a live link

• Makes your Google docs more accessible to students

In the sharing settings change the access to ‘Anyone who has the link can view’

Select ‘Publish to the web’

Copy the embed code into the Moodle html toggle

You can change the size of the presentation but it is best set at medium

Paste the code into the html source editor

The presentations will then be embedded into Moodle

Access Picasa

1. Upload 2. Give the album a name

3. Select photos or if you are using Chrome, drag and drop

To embed the photo gallery into Moodle you need to change the permissions to ‘Limited, anyone with the link’

Embed slideshow

Copy the embed code into the Moodle html toggle

You can change the size of the embedded presentation but it best set at medium

English Literature have taken photos of their work and class presentations

Foundation Learning have taken photos of their practical food lessons. The students then copy the photos from the gallery when writing about their work

Geology have photos from Field trips. The slideshows are then presented at Open Evenings to promote the subject
