The Institute of Certifi ed Public Accountants of Uganda (ICPAU) is set to host the 3rd East African Congress of Accountants (EACOA) in conjunction with the National Board of Accountants and Auditors (NBAA), Institute of Certifi ed Public Accountants of Kenya (ICPAK), the Institute of Certifi ed Public Accountants of Rwanda (ICPAR) and Ordre Des Professionnels Comptables Du Burundi (OPC).
The 3rd EACOA will be held at Imperial Resort Beach Hotel, Entebbe from 18 - 20 March 2020. Located 5km from Entebbe International airport, the hotel boasts
of a spacious environment and great ambience that accommodates a wide range of activities. It also guarantees a picturesque scene of green environment and a cool breeze from Lake Victoria.
The Congress brings together notable professionals, thought leaders and experts to deliberate and craft solutions to underlying challenges within the profession and discuss the impact of other sectors on the profession.
The 3rd EACOA will be premised on the theme; “Integration for Accelerated Economic Growth and Development in the East African Community”.
With a combination of attendees from different countries, the 3rd EACOA is expected to bring together over 1,000 participants.
Participants from the various sectors including but not limited to; Accountants, Finance and Management professionals, Tax practitioners, Policy Makers and Economists among others are invited to
be part of the Congress.
Being part of the Congress guarantees participants expert knowledge and provides networking opportunities with the top magnates in the region. Members of professional organizations will also qualify for twenty one (21) Continuing Professional Development (CPD) hours.
Registration opens on 1 October 2019 and late registration will be allowed from 1-7 March 2020.
The Congress fees include full attendance of the Congress, inter hotel transport,
break teas, lunches and complementary attendance to dinners. Participants will exclusively meet their accommodation fees. Recommendable hotels will be available at subsidized rates.
