INTELLIGENT TECHNOLOGIES

Arnold Glas provides new solut ions for the archi tectural glass industr y and enables archi tects and planners to include ex traordinar y and complex glass applicat ion in the design of buildings.

elevates the use and per formance of solar control glass to a new level. expands the green building industr y focus to include nature and wildl i fe conser vat ion. advances tempered glass, wi th TOPV IEW, to avoid unsight ly anisotropy (double refract ion phenomena).

TECHNICAL COMPETENCE AND COOPERATION

Technical exper ts with decades of internat ional project business exper ience guarantee exper t ise and know-how for mult i funct ional glass technologies. technical support for stress analysis, technical data sheets or compatibility of materials, etc. professional consul t ing for indiv idual solut ions and special glass conf igurat ions.

QUALIT Y AND EXPERIENCE

Through str ic t quali t y control and constant monitor ing by an independent inst i tute, A rnold Glas ensures to del iver the highest quali t y. E xper ience in internat ional project management, and shipments to construct ion si tes overseas guarantee a successful execut ion of contract.

FLEXIBILIT Y AND BENEFIT

Arnold Glas supplies customized glass-based solut ions to building owners, planners and archi tects, window and façade designers and project engineers. Rapid processing, pre-cision and accuracy in execut ing cont rac ts, and f lex ib le ac t ion are the bas is to develop the ver y bes t so lu t ions even for complex or unusual jobs.

arcon, the technology brand by Arnold Glas, has been of fer ing highly ef fect ive magnetron coat ings on al l k inds of glass substrates for more than 30 years. E xper ience, know-how, technical exper t ise, and innovat ion are what makes arcon coat ings your ideal choice for customized glass solut ions.

THE SOLUTION FOR BIRD PROTECTION IS CLEAR

Researchers estimate that hundreds of millions of birds are killed each year in North America due to collisions with glass on human-built struc-tures, making bird collisions one of the most significant causes of avian mortality globally.

With the understanding that birds are able to see light in the ultraviolet spectrum, bird-friendly glass innovator, Arnold Glas developed ORNILUX bird protection glass. The glass has a patterned, UV-reflective coating making it visible to birds while remaining vir tually transparent to the human eye.

ORNILUX bird protection glass is available as laminated glass or energy- efficient, double- or triple-glazed insulated units with an additional low-E or solar control coating that offers a bird-friendly glass without compro-mising thermal performance or light transmittance. ORNILUX insulated and laminated units are available heat-strengthened or tempered.

ORNILUX

What we see What the birds see

THE ADVANTAGES OF ORNILUX:

Tested and approved by American Bird Conservancy

Over 15 years of research and development, and a global leader in bird- friendly glass

Available as heat-strengthened or tempered glass

Provides bird collision mitigation with a high level of transparency

Paired with low-E and solar control coatings

Expands the definition of an environmental glass type to include wildlife conservation

All heat-t reated uni ts are avai lable in TOPV IEW quali t y standards that avoid unsight ly anisotropy (double refract ion phenomena). Please contact us for more informat ion.

SOL AR CONTROL AND AESTHETIC DESIGN

The A-Ser ies of fers a cho ice of h igh per formance, solar-ref lect ive and low-emissiv i t y glass products that meet or exceed energy code requirements. W i th the new A-Series product range, Arnold Glas provides a new solar control technology for archi tects and façade plan-ners who aim to opt imize solar contro l and maximize ef f ic iency and comfor t . For the f irs t t ime, four di f ferent so lar cont ro l g lass coat ings ( A40, A50, A60, A70) featuring dif ferent light transmission and per formance can be paired together to design a color compat ible facade. The A-Series ensures a balanced indoor climate – both in summer and in winter. I t saves energy on AC units or alternatively, on heating and thus makes a contr ibut ion to protect ing the environment.

SOL ARLUX

With its at tractive, neutral appearance, the A-Series is a color-matching, heat-treatable product. All heat-treated units are available in TOPVIEW qualit y standards that avoid unsightly anisotropy (double refraction phenomena). Please contact us for more information.

THE ADVANTAGES OF SOL ARLUX:

Solar control ta i lored to sui t thermal per formance needs without compromising a v isually compatible and color matched façade for maximum f lexibil i t y in the planning and execut ion of projects.

Pair di f ferent solar control glass coat ings in Nor th-/South-Façade: use A70 and achieve 70% light t ransmission on the Nor th-Façade for maximum light. use A50 and achieve 50% light t ransmission on the South-Façade to reduce solar radiat ion.

Pair di f ferent solar control glass coat ings in Upper-/ Lower Levels: use A70 and achieve 70% light t ransmission on lower levels that are shaded by neighbor ing buildings. use A60 and achieve 60% light t ransmission on upper levels that are exposed to direct sunlight.

High light transmittance for optimum use of daylight

Low total energy transmittance prevents excessive heating

High thermal insulation protects against heat loss

Minimal natural light color distortion

The A-Series offers solutions for all climates:
