Heliogen® Blue L 6600 F (EH 1600)*High chroma and neutral fl op

Value in use

• excellent color strength – improved economy in application• improved chroma and hue – facilitating broader styling

options• high transparency – superior performance in combination

with effect pigments, e.g., Lumina® Royal series• neutral color fl op – enabling styling trends with limited color

shift when viewed from different angles

*Standardization in progress. The code before standardization is EH 1600.

• halogen-free chemistry – suitable for low-halogen- content applications

• excellent migration performance – no bleeding

An intense blue with neutral color fl op?

At BASF, we create chemistry.

2 Intensely blue – even when you turn it upside down.

Heliogen® Blue L 6600 F (EH 1600)*

Heliogen® Blue L 6600 F (EH 1600)* represents the latest development in the blue world of Heliogen® pigments. Heliogen® Blue L 6600 F (EH 1600)* is a P.B. 15:6 copper phthalocyanine blue (Ɛ modifi cation) pigment with enhanced coloristic performance and excellent secondary properties. It fi lls the gap in our “neutral fl op” blue pigment landscape alongside Paliogen® Blue L 6360 (P.B. 60) and Heliogen® Blue L 6950 (P.B. 15:1).

Key benefi ts in action

Automotive:

• high durability performance for demanding exterior applications

• “universal” applicability in water- and solvent-based coating systems

• enhanced coloristic performance• economy in use through higher color strength• good overcoating fastness

Consumer electronics:

• halogen-free pigment class suitable for low-halogen-content coating systems

• enhanced chroma for extraordinary vibrant stylings• no colored migration from the fi nished article into the

surrounding environment• tinted clearcoat possibility through high transparency

Printing:

• application in water- as well as in solvent- and oil-based inks• enhanced color space• excellent color strength

Coloristic properties: fi lls gap in pigment landscape

• superior performance compared to other pigments in the P.B. 15:6 color space: color strength, chroma, hue – red shifted, transparency

• completes color space of “neutral fl op” blue pigment landscape ranging from green shade (P.B. 15:1) to intense red shade (P.B. 60) blue

• excellent styling potential in combination with effect pigments (e.g., Lumina® Royal Blue)
