Subject: Regarding amendment of RRs (LEVEL in the PAY MATRIX) in existing Recruitment Rules i.e Central Reserve Police Force, Group "B" Post (General Duty, Technical and Tradesmen Cadre) Recruitment Rules, 2014.

On the subject noted above, a draft notification (Both in Hindi and English version) was submitted to MBA for vetting/approval of competent authority vide this branch U 0 No. DG CRPF UO No. M.V 1/2018-Estt-7-CPC dated 29/01/19. In turn, MHA vide their note dated 08/02/2019 (Copy is enclosed) returned the proposal to this Directorate (duly corrected in pencil -in English version) with remarks that same is required to be uploaded of respective Ministries/Departm t (i.e in CRPF Website) for 30 days for inviting comments from the stakehold r as per DoPT OM No. AB-14017/61/2008-Estt.(RR) dated 13/10/2015.

2. Therefo e, draft notification duly corrected (Both in Hindi and English Version) may kindly e uploaded on the Website of CRPF immediately. As regard, Hindi Version of dra notification, it is intimated that Hindi Officer (OL) of Dte. is being requested to tr nslate/submit the same to your branch immediately. Action taken report in this r gard may kindly be communicated to this branch by 28/06/19 positively for further ecessary action please.

Reference CRPF's proposal on pre-pages regarding draft amendment

in CRPF, Pioneer Cadre (Group 15' Combatised Posts) Recruitment Rules,

2014.

2. The proposal of CRP! received on 30.01.2019 has been examined and

on going through the proposal following shortcomings have been

observed:-

Guideline for uplbading the draft RRs on website of respective

departments for 30 days for inviting tomments from the

stakeholders issthed vide DoPT's O.M. No AB-14017/61/1/2008-

Estt.(RR) dated 13.10.2015, has not complied with in the instant

case.

Grade pay of rarik proposed for amendment corresponding to 7th

CPC needs to be checked thoroughly before proposing the same

in the draft amendment of RRs.

Other amendm nts as required have been made in pencil in draft

amendment of RRs for the post of Inspector/Overseer (Civil):

CRPF may cariy similar amendments in the draft RRs for

remaining posts.

3. In view of the above, CRPF is requested to amend the draft RRs and

upload the proposed amended draft RRs on its website for 30 days for

inviting comments and thereafter re-submit the proposal accorcTh—TER—for

further necessary action. Draft amendment of RRs in respect of Group 'B'

Post (General Duty/Tec nical and Tradesmen Cadre is also returned

herewith for preparing nd re-submitting the same as per observations

made under para 2 ahoy

G.S.R - In exercise of the power conferred by sub section(i) of section 18 of Cent al Reserve Police Force Act 1949(66 of 1949), the Central Government hereby pakes the following rules further to amend the Central Reserve Police Force, Gro '13' Post (General Duty, Technical and Tradesmen Cadre) Recruitment Rules, 2014, namely:-

1. Short title and commencement.-

(1) Tiese rules may be called the Central Reserve Police Force, Group '13' st (General Duty, Technical and Tradesmen Cadre), Rec •tment Amendment Rules, 2019.

2. In the rentral Reserve Police Force, Group '13' Post (General Duty, Technical and Tradelmen Cadre) Recruitment Rule, 2014,-

nunber of said posts, their classification and the level in the pay rndtrix attached thereto, shall be as specified in column: (2) to (4) of the said schedule.";
