BRICKLIVE and Bright Bricks have been delivering fun, engaging brick based events and activities to our customers for almost a decade. We’ve got so many engaging activities including brick pits with hundreds of thousands of bricks, graffiti walls to bring out your inner artist, community build mosaics and our brilliant make and take models which can be built in venue and taken home as a gift. MAKE AND TAKESMake and Takes are a fantastic way to create a fun, creative build zone in a controlled space. Small models containing 20-50 bricks are picked from our part pots, then constructed with a facilitator to create a memorable gift that can be kept forever.

ACTIVITY BREAKDOWN- Facilitator to set-up the bricks, instructions and layout of the event. (Ensure time is allocated to do so before the start of the event).- Laminated instructions are provided - usually 10 copies. These are placed on tables for participants to see.- Tubs of either mixed brick or individual bricks are placed on the tables.- Participants come up to the tables and are told how to build the Make & Takes. They can either follow the instructions or build by looking at the pre-built models.- The facilitators are there to ensure the correct bricks are used, to offer help in building the models and to watch over the event.- A Make & Take model usually takes the average participant 10 minutes to build.- A second facilitator, or an assistant from the venue will be required to help oversee the event and cover any breaks.

SET-UP TIME: 45-60 minutes

PACK AWAY TIME: 35-40 minutes

AGE: Suitable for participants aged 7+

Christmas themed Make and Take models

The layout of these events can vary depending on the Make & Take quantity, floor space and duration of the event. One facilitator can manage up to three tables at once. Anymore and an assistant will be required.

STAFFING:Please refer to your chosen package for information on how many members of staff we will provide.

WHAT WE WILL REQUIRE:- Tables- An assistant (if there is only one facilitator)- Clients to manage queues and any payments to be taken

WHAT WE WILL PROVIDE:- Tubs- Bricks- Instructions- Tablecloths - to fit standard 6ft table- Tables - if clients have none

Bricks will be provided in tubs of mixed brick or separated into individual bricks. This will depend on the difficulty of the Make & Take, the length of the event and the types of bricks used.

It is a good idea to have a couple of pre-built Make & Take models placed on the table for the participants to see. Not all participants will want to follow the instructions, as they may want to try and build without.

PUBLIC BUILD MOSAICSOur public build mosaics are creative, involve major teamwork and provide an amazing photo opportunity. The public create their own small piece of a much larger work of art. Local communitiesshowing teamwork at its very brick best!

ACTIVITY BREAKDOWN- Facilitator hands out instructions and an 8x8 plate to participants.- Participants complete 8x8 plate by following instructions.- Once the 8x8 plate is completed, participants hand back to facilitator with instructions.- Facilitator places the plate on the corresponding numbered tile, according to the instruction page.- The completed instruction sheet is placed in a box.

SET-UP TIME: 60 minutes

GRAFFITI WALLAlways a crowd pleaser for adults and kids alike. Our brick graffiti walls come in a range of sizes and allow customers to leave their creative mark for all to see!

ACTIVITY BREAKDOWN- The facilitator will arrive prior to the activity start time to set up the wall and loose bricks. We’ll ensure time is allocated to do so before the start of the event.- Participants use the loose bricks to produce their own artwork on the wall.- The facilitators are there to assist participants with their build and to watch over the event. ACTIVITY BREAKDOWN- The dimensions of the Play Table are: 151cm(l) x 66cm(w) x 66cm(h).- The facilitator will arrive 20 minutes prior to the activity start time to set up the Play Table and fill with loose bricks. - Participants can use the loose bricks and build and create anything they wish.- The facilitators are there to assist participants with their build and to watch over the event. BIG BLOCKSFor when you want to go large! Big Blocks are perfect for creating brick areas, walls, entrances and furniture.

INFORMATIONBig Blocks consist of four universal parts:

- Full-size block: 30.48cm(l) x 15.24cm(w) x 15.24cm(h) (+2.54cm for lugs) - 1kg - Line block: 30.48cm(l) x 7.62cm(w) x 15.24cm(h) (+2.54cm for lugs) - 0.4kg- Half-size block: 15.24cm(l) x 15.24cm(w) x 15.24cm(h) (+2.54cm for lugs) - 0.45kg - Quarter-size block: 7.62cm(l) x 15.24cm(w) x 15.24cm(h) (+2.54cm for lugs) - 0.23kg

- The blocks nest easily with the parts above and below, creating a stable and durable connection.- Stagger parts as needed for additional strength and to create unique visual patterns.- No tools are required to install or disassemble sections.- 15 standard colours are available, including a metallic style gold and silver.- Any constructions can be taken apart and re-assembled again, and the pieces can be re-used to build other objects.

WARRIORBOTSLet the brick battle commence!

ACTIVITY BREAKDOWNThere are 2 arena sizes available depending on the size of the venue: Small Arena - 8.5m x 8.5m (allow 8.5m x 11m for crowd space) Large Arena - 12m x 19m (space for crowds & Selfie Zone) - Facilitators to set-up the arena (ensure time is allocated to do so before the start of the event).- A minimum of 3 facilitators are required to run this event.- Players are picked at random by the facilitators.- Players are shown how to use the controls and get to practice driving the Warriorbots prior to the battles.- Battles last 2 minutes.- Power to be supplied by the venue. A minimum of 4 x 13amp square pin sockets are required.- Lift access is required if the event is being held above ground floor level.- The facilitators are there to assist participants with their experience and to watch over the event. Our staff are not responsible for any participants and are only responsible for the activity itself.

SELFIE ZONESThe perfect brick-pic opportunity to create everlasting memories!

Thai dancer selfie zone

ACTIVITY BREAKDOWN- The selfie zone model is installed with a relevant backdrop to its environment. e.g. the Beefeater is a life-sized model posed in front of an image of the Tower of London.- We supply an assortment of colourful props to help the participant get into character.- Our selfie zone models range from a racing car to a Greek Philosopher, Samurai, Native American and Egyptian Pharaoh.- Selfie zones can be installed in most indoor locations and are fun for all the family.
