1. This amazing service was established in the year 2000 by Amy Kleinhans-Curd, former Miss South Africa and a qualified teacher, in partnership with the Nelson Mandela Foundation.2. Assistance is available in all official languages. 3. Most of the requests were maths related. 4. The Dial-A-Teacher service is available Monday to Thursday, 6 pm to 9 pm (school and public holidays excluded). 5. All our teachers are qualified and work in conjunction with the Department of Education. 6. Dial-A-Teacher is free.
