Northern Ireland is a full name of this

country. Many people think that England and Britain are one and the same, but it is not so. England is only a part of the UK. The United Kingdom itself consists

of 4 countries - England, Ireland, Scotland, Wales.

Britain is the largest island in

Europe and the eighth largest

in the world.

Union Jack is the flag of Great Britain. It is a symbol of the administrative unification of the

countries of the United Kingdom.

There is no Constitution in the UK .

The Queen of England, Elizabeth II, is the head of state, but she can't run the country, as she is a symbol of the country.

Windsor castle is the largest of the Royal house in the world, which continues to be used.

Newtown is the most popular name for the city in England. More than 150 cities are called Newtown.
