at Interfaith Hospitality Network of Greater Cincinnati is

not a building filled with beds. It is a community filled with neighbors that plan, cook, collect supplies, and offer what they have to families in need in their houses of worship. Motivated by personal faith, these neighbors don’t just reach out to those experiencing homelessness, but to each other, to say we are one community and we can make it a better one by showing hospitality to parents and children with

no place else to turn. In 2018, this gracious involved 25 host congre-

gations joined by 100 support congregations and 42 funding congregations that:

Like the years preceding it, 2018 was a busy one! Every single day of the year our guests, volunteers, staff, and supporters contributed toward living out IHNGC’s mission. Volunteers formed the foundation of our community response to family homelessness, opening their doors and hearts to parents and children in need. Collaborating with the Day Center, we formed a holistic network of care for those families providing top quality emergency shelter and unmatched hospitality. Acting on their personal faith and representing the missions of their individual faith com-munities, Protestant, Catholic, Jewish, Muslim, Unitarian, and others, came togeth-er not just to serve, but to fellowship, listen, learn, and grow. The vibrancy of our interfaith communities was evident at our annual Volunteer Appreciation event and at our Faith in Action Breakfast. Finally, because of the committed support of this community around us, IHNGC was able to continue to expand programming to secure stable housing for more families and to provide all the support and services necessary for housing to become home. Thank you for making this possible and for being the kind of neighbors that make Cincinnati a great place to live and love. Sincerely,

Executive Director Board President
