2. Remove center/dash console as shown in Figures 1 and 2:a. Pull the console (A) out.b. Pull up and out to remove and open
the hood (B).If a radio is present, remove according to service manual.
Mounting Preparation:
IMPORTANTThis SLINGSHOT INTERIOR LED LIGHTING KIT is exclusively designed for use with this vehicle. Please read the installation instructions thoroughly before beginning. Installation is easier if the vehicle is clean and free of debris. For your safety, and to ensure a satisfactory installation, perform all installation steps correctly in the sequence shown.
1. Move the vehicle to its final position. Place the vehicle in “NEUTRAL” and turn the key to “OFF” position. Remove the key from the vehicle. Apply the parking brake.

3. Locate ECU mounting bracket (D) in back left of engine. Remove two 6 mm hex bolt (C), as shown in Figure 3a. Remove one 6 mm hex bolt (F) on other side of bracket as shown in Figure 4. Optional: for additional ease of removal of third 6 mm hex bit, remove two 10 mm bolts (E) indicated in Figure 3b and shift ECU (D) out of the way.

4. Shift mounting bracket towards the front of the vehicle, away from area for the LED’s, as shown in Figure 5.• ECU Unit and Mount (D)
5. Drill two 23/64” sized holes (G) upward by the driver side feet as indicated in Figure 6a. Insert black locking fasteners (J) into the holes from above on the engine side (see Figure 6c for fastener (J) image shown in white for clarity).• Clutch Pedal - (H)
6. Drill two 23/64” sized holes (G) upward by the passenger side feet as indicated in Figure 6b. Insert black locking fasteners into the holes from above on the engine side (see Figure 6c for fastener (J) image, shown in white for clarity).

7. Remove rightmost switch blank (K) in center console as shown in Figure 7. To remove switch push the fastener clips (L) towards center and try to push it up. Refer to Figure 8 for switch removal.

2. Feed the wire harness without the power terminal, as shown in Figure 10, starting from inside the console. Feed left side wires and LED’s left out into the engine area, along the existing wiring to the drilled holes, as shown in Figure 11.
3. Feed left LED wires along the existing wiring harness, according to Figure 9, zip tying wiring approximately in the areas indicated in Figures 11a, 11b, and 11c.

4. Feed right LED wires out the back of the console to the right, under the overflow coolant container, and zip tie along existing wiring, ensuring to stay clear of the exhaust, and as indicated in Figures 12a and 12b.

5. Disconnect wire from center terminal at DC power socket (backside of cigarette outlet inside the glovebox in the passenger side). Connect power terminal (M) to the center terminal of the DC power unit inside the glovebox in the passenger side. Then connect the Power Mate terminal (Q) to the original power connection. See Figures 13a and 13b, refer to Figure 12a for outlet location.
6. Insert left and right LED’s (R) into the holes of the black locking fasteners (shown in white for clarity). Ensure they are entirely inserted into the openings as indicated in Figure 14.
7. Insert switch into vacated switch slot and connect LED On/Off connection harness to the switch (2) by simply inserting harness into the switch terminals as illustrated in Figure 15. There is only one orientation in which the connector can be inserted.

8. Connect ground terminal to the black/white ground wire plug located inside the center console as indicated in Figure 16. Refer to Figure 9 for ground terminal.
9. Reinstall ECU bracket, unit and center console (or radio) according to service manual and the reverse of steps (3, 2, 1) from mounting preparation.
