Venue Both the Congress and Exhibition will be held in the Congress Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Leninskii prospect, 32a. The exhibition will be located at the ground and 2nd floors. The list of the exhibitors is enclosed in the Congress bag. The Conference Hall is situated between the first and the 2nd floor. A passage to “color” halls (red, blue, green, and beige), which are located around the winter garden, is from the 2nd floor. The information desk is situated at the ground floor near the entrance. Excursions and tours can be booked at the registration.

Local Transportation

The free transfers from Salyut, Academicheskaya and Ukraina Hotels to the Congress venue (morning) and back (evening) will be provided by shuttle buses. The Kremlin and the city center are located at about 5 km from the Congress venue. It is possible to go to the city center by metro. Available metro tickets are for 1, 2, 5 or 10 trips. One trip costs 15 Rbl. The nearest to the Congress venue metro station is Leninskii prospekt. The official travel agency is responsible for the transfer of the attendees from an airport to the Hotels and back (on the departure). The Congress buses running between Hotels and airports (Sheremetyevo-2 and Domodedovo) will be available on Friday, June 30 (from 1 pm to 8 pm) and on Saturday, July 1 (from 9 am to 3 pm). The cost of one way trip is 300 Rbl (about 10 USD).

Meals Hot business lunch for an approximate price of 300 Rbl (about 10 USD) will be available during the Congress in the Restaurant of the Congress Center. Lunch tickets should be purchased in advance (upon registration). In addition, snack-bars serving sandwiches, cakes, tee, coffee, juices, water, etc will work at the 1st floor. On Monday, June 26 coffee-break will be organized at the 2nd floor. The next days coffee-breaks will be served at the 1st floor.

Currency The unit of Russian currency is rouble (Rbl.). Numerous exchange offices are located in Moscow providing exchange for US dollars and Euros. In May 2006, the exchange rate was about 27.5 roubles for 1 USD. In Moscow hotels, restaurants, and department stores the most recognized credit cards like VISA, American Express, Master Card, Euro Card, etc. are accepted.

Rules for Numbering The numbering of the presentations in the Programme has the following meaning: 1. The first 2-3 letters refer to the Section topic, according to the below list. 2. The letters K and O after the topic code indicate a Keynote and Oral type of

presentation. 3. A digit after a letter refers to the number of the presentation within a given Section.

Section Code

Section Topic

PL Plenary ANM Analysis of Materials AS Atomic spectrometry BIO Biochemical/biomedical analysis

CHM Chemometrics, metrology and quality assurance CHR Chromatography EDU Education ELC Electroanalytical chemistry ELP Electrophoresis ENV Environmental analysis FIA Flow analysis FDA Food analysis GEN General aspects of analytical chemistry MS Mass-spectrometry

MTA Micro total analysis systems MLS Molecular spectrometry NIS New instruments and systems SMP Sample preparation SNS Sensors SEP Separation science SRF Surface and X-ray analysis

The first digit of the Poster presentations identifies the Poster session.

The letter P means Poster. A number behind P indicates the poster number within a given poster session.

All Posters within each Poster session will be subdivided according to the Sections planned in the Scientific Program, i.e., Analysis of Materials, Atomic Spectroscopy, Biochemical/Biomedical Analysis and so on. The titles of the Sections will be displayed at the panel of the first poster of the given Section.
