Al Gharbia Pipe Company (AGPC) is a world- class manufacturer of large diameter welded steel pipes for the oil, gas, power generation and construction industry.

Established in 2015, AGPC continues more than 45 years of Japanese pipe manufacturing tradition in the UAE. AGPC was formed as a joint venture company between SENAAT from Abu Dhabi, JFE Steel Corp. and Marubeni-Itochu Steel from Japan.

AGPC aims to become the Middle East’s premier manufacturer of high quality longitudinal submerged arc welded (L-SAW) steel line pipe for offshore and onshore applications including sour service as well as for structural tubulars for offshore installations.

• State-of-the-art automated pipe manufacturing line for efficient production of large quantities of high-quality SAW pipe.

• 2nd generation JCO® pipe forming press including VSP hydraulics and Shape Automation System.

• MES (Manufacturing Execution System) which uses machine learning, Artificial Intelligence & Big Data analysis to facilitate intelligent and autonomous production, controlling all processes from plate receipt to dispatch of finished pipes.

The plant is equipped with the most advanced production and testing technology from Europe and Japan including:

• 3 inside / 3 outside welding lines using 3-5 welding wires for efficient single pass welding.

• Automatic Phased Array Ultrasonic Testing using patented Direct Deflection Method with high focus beam giving more accurate results than other PAUT machines.

• Dimensional Controls using automatic laser measurement of finished pipes.

• Extensive in-house testing facilities with laboratory for chemical analysis and mechanical and corrosion testing.

API 5L Gr. B up to X80, DNVGL ST-F101, EN 10208-2 for sour and non-sour service as well as on and offshore applications. Additional services provided: internal & external coating, induction bends, storage & logistics.

Line Pipe

API 2B / ASTM 252 / EN 10219 with material grades API 5L / API 2W/2H, EN 10025, EN 10225 or equivalent.
