Creating Value

Dear Ladies and Gentlemen,

International MBA is the first and only МВА program in Ukraine which offersMaster of Business Administration degrees of two respected institutions fromtwo sides of the ocean: International Institute of Business, the only businessschool in Ukraine accredited by the Association of MBAs, and University of NewBrunswick, the oldest Englishspeaking university in Canada.

This program combines rich NorthAmerican tradition of quality business education and 15 years of IIB experience in training Ukrainian managers and researching Ukrainian business. It is designed to reflect an appropriate blend of managerial knowledge and skills which works in Canada, in Ukraine and everywhere inthe world. It is for professional managers building their successful careers intoday's global environment.

In the International MBA program we offer to our students all the best featuresdistinguishing IIB and UNB today, first of all a synergy between the best worldmanagement experience and deep knowledge of modern business practices.

In this brochure you may find key information about the program its curriculum, faculty, format of delivery and learning practices. As any good MBA program it covers all significant areas of business management and executivedevelopment. At the same time International MBA is not just a set of coursestaught by highly experienced Ukrainian and foreign professors. The importantgoal for us is ensuring integration and synergy of modern knowledge, management science, and practical experience, aiming at development of effective andsuccessful manager and we would be glad if our institute will become a goodand longterm partner in your professional career.

Yours faithfully,

Alexander Mertens,President

International Institute of Business

What I like is thatthe name of the program

"International MBA" quadrates tofacts, as all the

courses are not limited to eitherUkrainian or foreign

experience. All the coursescomplement each other. This

is like in a mosaic, when seemingly different functional

pieces are combined to create aholistic, global view of

business. Every lecturer is avivid personality and a

professional, having solid background in lecturing and

consulting. All the subjects areconnected with real

business examples. Franklyspeaking it is always a

pity "to part" with a lecturerwhen the course is over.

program itself is highlyintensive, positively stimulating selfdiscipline skills

development. The fact thatthe courses are taught by

Ukrainian and Canadianlecturers provides us with

an opportunity to get aninteresting mixture of many

various opinions.

Oleg Buryak, Johnson&Johnson

My choice of the IMBA wasdriven by two factors: firstly,

by a focus on financialcourses and, secondly, by

the aspect of enhancementof knowledge. In my opinionIMBA program provides students with a systematic viewof all the functional areas of

business. The programopens new possibilities offunctional, interfunctionaland career development.

IMBA program has attractedme by its balanced approachtowards materials selection,

faculty composition,Canadian and Ukrainian

experience etc.

Program DetailsIIB International MBA program is designed for experiencedmanagers of international and Ukrainian companies which aregoing to enhance their professional skills and knowledge inbusiness management and successfully develop their careersin global competitive environment.

Program consists of intensive fiveday sessions every month, from Wednesday through Sunday. Program starts earlyFebruary and completes in September of the next year.

Program`s length is 18 month.

The IMBA program consists of two parts. The option to takesome of the courses abroad is available.

The first part consists of 16 courses taught by IIB faculty. Itprovides students with skills in the core functional areas ofbusiness and introduces them to key concepts of businesseconomics, management, finance, marketing, operations, human resources management and other areas.

The second section of the program is taught by UNB faculty. In the second year, students are provided with the opportunityof business practicum through applications of theory in thedevelopment of business plans and corporate strategies.Students must successfully complete: Strategic Management(MBA 6107) and Applied Integrative Studies (MBA 6903) plus7 UNB course electives.

Undoubtedly, expenses oftime and energy will pay back

in due course. Now, on thesecond year, it’s still early to

speak about it, since we areonly on the middle of the way.

But even at this stage theenclosed expenses bring quite

good dividends.

Aleksandr Poddenezhniy,JSC "Elopak Fastov"

In my opinion, an IMBAserves to link as well as to

enhance your experience andknowledge, so that you canapply it in a variety of situa

tions. The particular programat IIB is unique; the personalundivided attention that you

get from every teacher ispriceless. Believe me I know,

I used to study in Englandand when you have 120 stu

dents in a big lecture theatre, you feel lost. Here at IIB all

lectures are interactive. Theexperience that your class

mates share combined witheach lecturer's knowledge

and experience gives you aunique perspective on the

subjects you study. The depthof knowledge of lecturers is

exceptional; they always useuptodate information and

examples from Ukrainian aswell as world business prac

tice. After the first day at IIB, Iunderstood that this was the

place where I wanted tostudy. The lecturing process

here is unlike any you 'veexperienced before in any

Ukrainian university. It's different, it's modern, and it's

made for your convenience.

The IMBA provides you with aunique opportunity to

enrich your level of managerial perception. Applying

for this program I expected tofocus on the development ofmanagerial skills (instead of

"quasisecondeducation " of a wide scope of

subjectmatter only) andI am satisfied with what I have

gained thus far. Surely,it is challenging to juggle

studying with fulltime work;however, I have already witnessed benefits of the pro

gram in my daytoday activities. I also appreciate theselfdevelopment gained

through sharing experiencesand knowledge with other stu

dents and consider it tobe a big benefit of the pro

gram. I see how perfectly theidea of self development in

the experience sharingenvironment functions. Inaddition, one of the major

benefits of the program is itsdesign as a Canadian

management school transformed through Ukrainian

business particularities.
