DEAR FRIENDS FROM IPA NATIONAL SECTIONS, On behalf of the Organizing Committee and more than 3000 members of IPA Bulgarian Section I have the privilege and honor to cordially invite you to the next 62nd IPA World Congress followed by the Friendship Week – to be hosted by IPA Bulgarian Section. The Congress will be held from 19th till 24th September 2017 in one of Bulgarian most beautiful Black Sea resorts – Albena and the venue is the five stars Flamingo Grand Hotel. The Friendship Week from 24th September till 1st October 2017 is Round Tour of Bulgaria including visits to some of the most attractive Bulgarian natural, historical, cultural, touristic landmarks. First day 24.09.2017: Albena Arrivals and transfer from Varna Airport to hotel Flamingo Grand in Albena of the newly coming participants in the Friendship Week. Participants who are continuing after the World Congress stay in the same hotel – Flamingo Grand. Dinner and overnight for all in hotel Flamingo Grand – Albena.

Second day 25.09.2017: Albena – Nessebar – Plovdiv After breakfast departure to Nessebar. Sightseeing tour of the old part of the town which is an UNESCO historic monument. Lunch. Drive to Plovdiv – the second Bulgarian city in population, size and significance, after the capital Sofia. Visit to MIDALIDARE winery with winetasting. Dinner and overnight in Plovdiv.

Third day 26.09.2017: Plovdiv – Bansko After breakfast sightseeing tour of “The old town of Plovdiv”, which attracts visitors from all over the world. Visit to the most interesting places – the ancient Amphitheatre, built up by the Roman Emperor Markus Aurelius during the 1st Century A.C. Lunch. Visit to TODOROFF winery with winetasting. Drive to Bansko – a town in the most beautiful Bulgarian mountain – Pirin – and one of the biggest winter resorts in the country. Dinner and overnight in Bansko.

Fourth day 27.09.2017: Bansko – Rila Monastery – Sofia After breakfast departure to Rila Monastery – one of the most outstanding monuments of the Bulgarian culture and architecture of the Revival period, visit to the Monastery complex, lunch. Drive to Sofia. Dinner and overnight in Sofia.

Fifth day 28.09.2017: Sofia – Koprivshtiza After breakfast sightseeing tour of the Sofia capital – visit to the “St. Alexander Nevski” Cathedral, the rotonde “St. George”, the churches “St. Nikola”. Lunch. Departure to Koprivshtiza, a town – museum with a typical marvelous ethnic architecture. Walk through the town with a visit to the Oslekov house – the most famous architectural and ethnographic site in the town. Dinner and overnight there.

Sixth day 29.09.2017: Koprivshtiza – Kazanluk – Veliko Tarnovo

After breakfast departure to Kazanluk, located in the center of the valley of the Roses. Visit to the Ethnographical museum and the Thracian tomb. Lunch. The drive continues through the Balkan mountain, visit to the Shipka monument. Dinner and overnight in Veliko Tarnovo.

Seventh day 30.09.2017: Veliko Tarnovo – Arbanassi – Osmar – Albena After breakfast visit to the historical hill Tzarevez and the Samovodska tcharshia. Drive to the culture – architecture complex Arbanassi. Visit to the Konstanzaliev house. Lunch. Visit to the OSMAR winery and winetasting. Deaparture to Albena. Dinner and overnight in Albena. Eight day 1.10.2017: After breakfast transfer to Varna Airport.
