Thank you for taking the time to review my resume. I would like to take this opportunity to provide you
with an executive summary of who I am and my attributions to my career thus far.
I completed my B.Com Financial Management degree in 2014 at the University of Pretoria. Whilst
completing my last year of my degree, I started working full time with a company named True North
Franchising whereby I was exposed to various areas of the practical accounting environment.
On a day to day basis I was responsible for the full accounting and payroll function of 14 legal entities.
This included but was not limited to, full bookkeeping to trial balance, invoicing, debtors, creditors,
fixed asset registers, long & short term loan adjustments and registers, reporting of financial
information in management accounts on a monthly basis to the directors and end of year audit
preparation for annual financial statements.
After which I started working at an International Money Transferring company called Hello Paisa,
where I am still currently working. Hello Paisa is a high paced company that needs extreme care to
detail on an accounting side. On a day to day basis I perform reconciliations between South African
banks and foreign payout partners (in Rand and seven other currencies), loading and payments of
forex deals booked daily to ensure all our partners have sufficient money to transfer, preparing of the
daily profit and loss report, preparation of monthly management accounts and consolidated reporting
pack with our UK partner, Daytona Capital and more.
In my time with True North Franchising and Hello Paisa I was exposed to all areas of accounting,
providing me with a vast amount of knowledge which will enable me to adapt to any working
environment. My reason for wanting to leave Hello Paisa is to relocate to Windhoek, Namibia. My
partner has accepted to pursue his career in Namibia and I would dearly like to join him there.
I am a fast learner and willing to take on any challenge sent my way. I am a highly driven and
passionate person who enjoys building relationships and mentoring others.
